It was a week of return and guest appearance rumors. We have been tracking the biggest ones and are ready to sort them all out for you.

As usual there’s much to report in our very own backyard. Have you ever noticed the crescendo of gossip that occurs right before a Housewives franchise returns for a new season? As always, this is the case with The Real Housewives of New Jersey which returns to Bravo TV in only two short weeks. Returning with it is party planning, decorating, new age-y, born again Housewife Dina Manzo, who is back on the heels of the departure of her sister Caroline Manzo and sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita.

Dina told Us Weekly magazine that her returning to the show was independent of her estranged relatives’ exodus. “I didn’t get anyone fired. One of my first questions for the producers when I was invited back was, ‘You’re not getting rid of anyone because of me, right’? and they said, ‘Absolutely not.’ “

Dina went on to tell US about the riff between the two female relatives and her brother Chris Laurita , saying she will never appear on a show with her family members again. “Other than my daughter (Lexi) I will never do a reality show with family ever again. It’s just not a healthy environment.”

I wouldn’t be so fast to say never, Dina, as you told Oprah Winfrey on your Where Are They Now special that you would never do Housewives again.

To see what Caroline says about Dina’s return, and her own forthcoming series Manzo’d With Children, read our April interview here.

Returning to the series along side Dina is Melissa Gorga. Rumor has it that it will be the first season for the singer/author/mother of three, free of the family drama between her and sister in law , Teresa Giudice. However, this doesn’t mean it will be all puppies and rainbows in the Garden State. She talked to Wet Paint about her new cast mates; twins Nicole Napolitano and Teresa Apree and ex friend Amber Marchese.

“I think they fit in well,” Melissa said of the three new HWs .”It’s fresh and different…but it’s a bumpy road…There’s a lot of things you won’t expect to happen.”

On working with Dina, Melissa says they met long before their RHONJ days through Dina’s Project Ladybug, a charity that helps children fighting cancer. Melissa, however, also makes it a point that she “love(s) Caroline to death.” So will it be Mel, Tre, and Dina against the brand new triple threat? One thing we can expect is somebody always fighting with a woman named Teresa and either way, it looks like that will be the case in some form.

Will the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills be getting some company? Somebody started circulating a rumor that Three’s Company and Thighmaster queen Suzanne Somers was joining the ladies of the 90210. E! Online, however, has squashed it.

A rep for Suzanne told the outlet, “We do not have any comment, since no one has contacted Suzanne about these talks.” Somers, is friends with many of the women on the show, but when asked on Access Hollywood she said that being a Housewife is not something she desires, “That’s not my nature. I don’t fight.”

Somebody who you will see on the series, however, is veteran RHOBH, Kyle Richards. “Yes, it’s coming back and I’m coming back” the ring-leader of drama on the series (at least I think she is) told US Weekly. She said, “I’m looking forward to a new season. I think it’s going to be a really good season and I’m excited. I’m curious, like the viewer, to see things unfold and see what the relationships are like.”

As we reported last week, producers were trying to find new additions to the cast by searching the ladies’ own contacts, after fans failed to connect with Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud.

Kyle confirmed her feelings about the departure of the one season wonders saying, “One is fine with me and the other one, well, you know! Joyce and I got along very well and Carlton was never nice to me. She went out of her way not to be. We were never friends so there is no love lost.”

Kyle had no input as to who the replacement wives would be, but she did say that sister  Kim Richards would be back, despite reports of the opposite.

Last week we reported that all members of The Real Housewives of Atlanta would be back for season 7. What we didn’t know, however, was that one may be bringing some guest stars with her. In response to her The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion scuffle with Porsha Williams it seems the ever over-the-top dramatic Kenya Moore is at it again. An unnamed source told Hollywood Life , “When Kenya has to tape with Porsha, she’s considering having bodyguards surrounding her, with the police on speed dial.”

Personally, I think the police right now are more concerned with co-star Phaedra Parks’ husband Apollo Nida, who is set to be jailed on July 8th for fraud charges.

Apollo, who could get as many as 30 years in the slammer, has been partying hard before his little, umm, vacation. “So, it was a party and $8,000 was spent. But it doesn’t matter if it’s $5,000, if it’s $8,000. If that’s your vice and if it’s your money and that’s what you want to do, cool, because guess what? There’s no difference-and I hope you word this right,” Apollo reportedly said according to The Epoch Times. Sounds to me like he’s still drunk, because really, WTF is he talking about?

In May Apollo stated, “I take full responsibility for my actions. It was a dumb situation I put myself in. I got sucked in and engulfed and lost sight of things.” He was referring to a nervous breakdown he says he had as a result of trying to maintain the lifestyle associated with being a Househusband. Will Nida be serving his time before the Giudices? Looks like it as their sentencing has once again been delayed.

Finally, I have to mention one more Bravo TV cast that is on board…literally. Below Deck will come back for a second season on Tuesday August 12th.  Captain Lee, chef Ben Robinson, stewardesses Adrienne Gang and Kat Held, and deckhand Eddie Lucas are all returning along with some new crew. Summer Makeup Guide from Expert Artist Todd Harris Wolf

Shades of summer. Todd knows which one works for you!

Shades of summer. Todd knows which one works for you!

Todd Harris Wolf knows makeup. Sought after by New York City CEO’s and socialites, the well heeled woman gets her best foot forward face on with Todd to the tune of more than a midtown haircut! However, we tracked him down and begged him to help our readers. Expert advice for free folks! Get ready to get your summer glam going!

TBB: What’s the most common mistake women make with their makeup this time of year?

THW: Their foundation is too heavy for the summer. Everyone has a summer wardrobe for their clothes, but few realize they need it for their face. Have your makeup for summer & winter and then mix in the spring fall.

TBB: What type of foundation is suitable for summer weather?

THW: Something that’s light in texture. It would be great if everyone could get away with just some concealer under the eyes, but not all skin types have this option. Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua has a very watery texture that sets well. Powder foundations in the summer look too cakey. A good drug store brand is Neutrogena Nourishing Longwear makeup.

TBB: Should sunscreen go on before our foundation or do today’s formulas provide enough SPF on their own?

THW: Most foundations have SPF, but for daytime apply a moisturizer with SPF  like Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer (it has and SPF of 30)before any makeup. For nighttime use a foundation without SPF if you are going to be photographed with a flash.

TBB: How about blushes and bronzer? Do we still need them in these flusher cheeked tanner months?

THW: Yes you always want to have a nice beautiful glow, even in summer. A great all in one product is Sisley’s L’Orchidee . It combines bronze peach and highlighting tones that can be used as an all over bronzer or just on your cheeks or just on the high points of your cheekbones.

TBB: What type of color palette should women stick to this time of year?

THW: For fair to medium skin tones lighter lipsticks as opposed to dark colors are more summer friendly. Mediterranean to darker tones look best in orange-y red and beige tones.

TBB: How about for eyes? Is a heavy smokey eye still acceptable this time of year?

THW: For a black tie gala,  yes but for everyday Bobby Brown makes an amazing palette called the Bronze Eye Palette. It comes with both matte and shimmer shades so you’re set for day and evening. Revlon’s Color Stay 12 Hour eyeshadow in 330 In the Buff is a great substitute and only costs $10!

TBB: Speaking of eyes how can we avoid looking like Tammy Faye Baker after a crying spree when we go swimming?

THW: Waterproof eyeliner and mascara. Armani Eyes to Kill waterproof eye pencil and Lancôme Hypnose Drama waterproof mascara are my picks for a smudge free swimming season. At the drug store I recommend Revlon Color Stay waterproof liners. They come in 8 shades. Loreal’s Voluminous Lashes waterproof is my mascara pick for the budget savvy diva.

TBB: With all these waterproof products, cleansing can be a challenge. What is the best method for removing these products and makeup in general?

THW: If you’ve worn a lot of makeup for the day you should do 2 cleanses. One with an oil based cleanser like Eve Lom cleanser which you can get in Sephora. It’s a balm that turns into an oil. It removes everything!

TBB: Speaking of cleaning, what is the best method for cleaning makeup brushes and how often should we be cleaning them?

THW: Brushes should be cleaned every 2 days. There are two kinds of brush cleaners. The standard alcohol based cleaners like MAC’s brush cleaner which you can pour on a towel and wipe your brushes clean. These cleaners dry in seconds. But every 2 two weeks you should deep clean your brushes w/ a gentle baby shampoo and rinse them thoroughly.

TBB: Thanks for chatting with us. Sorry but I have to go, apparently my brushes are embarrassingly overdue for a cleaning!

According to People magazine, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice‘s father, Frank Giudice, will be laid to rest tomorrow, Monday June 23d.

The 63 year-old father in law to RHONJ mega star Teresa Giudice collapsed, from what appears to have been a heart attack, at the couple’s Towaco, NJ home on Wednesday. The family is “holding it together”  a rep told the magazine and also stated that they were waiting for some family to arrive from Italy for the services.

Joe, who is an Italian citizen, and Teresa still await sentencing for multiple counts of fraud. The original date was set for July but according to In Touch Weekly, has been pushed back to September. A spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office told the magazine that the delay was due to an administrative issue, not the family death as people have been speculating.

New York City Housewife Sonja Morgan has one less vacation property to go commando in. According to TMZ the RHONY star’s St. Tropez villa was sold by a court-appointed trustee for $5.7 million. May sound like a lot of change to you and I, but Sonja was really looking for $8 million, which she says SHE had listed it for, to be financially responsible.

Could Housewives’ producers finally be listening to our pleas? Radar Online says that the crew behind Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is looking to recast and keep it real. After last season’s failure to launch Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud as believable HW friends, the producers are asking the ladies for lists of their best gal pals as possible new members.

Radar Online states that Carlton, along with Kim Richards, are on the outs and Yolanda Foster and Lisa Vanderpump are lobbying for their friend Shiva Safai, fiancee to Foster’s ex-husband Mohammed Hadid, to be the next woman to clutch a diamond on Bravo TV. The network is looking to the success of shows like Shahs of Sunset, in which casts have a real pre-show history with eachother, as inspiration.

Real Housewives of Miami‘s Joanna Krupa is ready to put the past behind her. She told  Access Hollywood that she and husband Romain Zago have no plans to relocate to the 90210, thus squashing rumors she was looking to be one of the BH Housewives. “Housewives was an amazing chapter of my life. It was great because it saved my relationship with my husband…we had an amazing fairy tale wedding, but I think it’s time to move on.”

Have you had enough of Nene Leakes? Well you may be alone, Nene and all 6 of her Real Housewives of Atlanta co stars are set to come back for the franchise’s upcoming seventh season. According to E Online all women are on board for the next installment of the series, which is set to start filming in November. Leakes, who seemed to be done with the show based on her attitude during the season 6 reunion was quoted by the outlet saying, “For me it’s like a blessing and a curse. (The show) has opened up so many doors and opportunities for me. I have been able to do some of everything just from being on this platform.” The self-proclaimed rich bitch wasn’t too shy to point out that being a HW can put a lot of money in my pocket. Not just the show, I’m saying, other things can come to you.”

Could one of those other things be a talk show? When a twitter fan recently suggested she get one, Nene replied “Keep your eyes open.” A hint of another HW talk show to come? Remember Nene, it’s been done once before,  and we all know how that turned out!

Tell us, do you think Nene should be the next queen of the couch? Comment below, your email will never be sold or shared.
