Will Lisa Rinna be the new queen of the Housewives?

Will Lisa Rinna be the new queen of the Housewives?

Ramona Singer and Real Housewives of New York City castmates celebrated in Atlantic City last weekend. The group, which included Bethenny Frankel, whose filmed birthday celebration we reported about last week, hopped aboard a party bus to celebrate the newly single Singer’s birthday.

Countess LuAnn DeLesseps shared a photo on her social media that showed the cast, and an unidentified blonde, lined up on their way to one of my favorite places, The Borgata Casino Hotel. This is the first time the cast was filmed at the Jersey Shore and not their usual weekend playground, the Hamptons. I’ve got three thoughts, who is the unknown woman, I wish I had gone there last weekend, and is Bravo’s cast vacay budget shrinking?

It’s a trend! It seems that Housewife returns aren’t going to stop. The latest name to be dropped as a born again HW is Caroline Manzo. Radar Online reports that with its star Teresa Giudice leaving the land of fur collars for the cell of orange jumpsuits, Bravo execs are trying to get a game plan together for the next season.

A source told Radar that both Caro and Jacqueline Laurita are very good prospects for full time status once again for season 7. One factor is that ratings increased when Jacqueline and Kathy Wakile both returned to the show for small parts during the ratings starved season 6. For those who are wondering if Caroline returning means that Manzo’d With Childen is not, the source told Radar that the spin-off actually “exceeded Bravo’s expectation ratings-wise and they are definitely interested in another season.”  Check out TBB next week when we post a Jacqueline exclusive in which she talks about plans for next season!

How would you feel about a double dose of the Manzo family? If Caroline were to return she would be joining the ranks of her estranged sister, Dina Manzo, and Bethenny Frankel as Housewives who learned the hard way to never say never. Also on that list are Camille Grammer, who called her actor ex Kelsey a “dick” and an “ass” on Watch What Happens Live  on Tuesday, Taylor Armstrong, and Adrienne Maloof. All three women made return appearances on this week’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiere. How much of them we will see this season? We hope enough to keep it interesting.

While on the topic of The Real Housewives of Beverly HillsE!Online says that everybody’s new favorite 90210-er is going to be Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place alum Lisa Rinna. Rinna, who has several reality series to her credit (Celebrity Apprentice,Dancing with the Stars and Harry Loves Lisa) told E! that filming RHOBH was “was very close to doing Melrose Place without a script in your hand.” Interesting words for “reality”. If any of you have seen the trailer of Lisa tossing a glass of what appears to be wine at Kim Richards, you have to be wondering if a veteran soap star isn’t going to be acting at least a bit. Fellow soap actress Eileen Davidson is also joined the series. Bring on the drama queens! What are your thoughts on actresses on reality television?

Although she hasn’t confirmed it personally, TMZ is reporting that Kathy Griffin will take the place of Joan Rivers on Fashion Police. Reportedly the show will no longer be  airing weekly and will be downsized to only awards shows and special events. Radar Online reports that Griffin was handpicked for the show by Rivers’ daughter Melissa. Do you think Kathy can fill Joan’s shoes?

Radar Online is reporting that Kyle Chrisley, the troubled son of Todd Chrisley, is making claims that his father is in fact gay. The family patriarch’s sexual orientation has been questioned since Chrisley Knows Best began airing due to him being overly flamboyant. Kyle, whom his father says is bipolar, is not the first one to make this claim. A former male employee sued the reality star after he asked him to perform a sex act on him. What are your thoughts on Todd Chrisley?

MTV reality star Diem Brown passed away last Friday after an extremely long battle with cancer. Family and friends payed tribute to her in a memorial service held in Manhattan on Tuesday. Her sister and friends eulogized her and Tricia Yearwood sang. Former The Challenge castmates, including Chris “CT” Tamburello, Diem’s on again off again boyfriend, were also on hand at the 34 year old’s funeral. We send her family love and prayers.

They’re baaaaack!

Love em’ or hate em’ two of Bravo’s former Real Housewives stars will be making their returns to the network…or are they?

After playing hooky from the season three reunion taping, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof is ready to make her comeback! The former RHOBH star confirmed she will be returning for season five of the hit series!

“I was approached by the producers to come back,” Adrienne told Us Weekly. “I’m coming back in cameo roles.”

Since her departure, Adrienne has split from her husband Dr. Paul Nassif, who currently stars on E! Network’s hit reality series Botched. Botched was just picked up for a second season.

“A lot has happened in my life,” Adrienne said. “So with each experience, I think I’ve grown. I’m at a point now where it’s a new chapter. I can really focus and think clearer on what to expect, and there’s nothing like experience to kind of get you to where you know you want to be. And I know that I want to come full circle with the rest of the women, some closure, and I feel like I have a better grasp on how to do that now…It just made sense to maybe take this and come full circle from where I left off last time…I’m coming back, also, a bit wiser. I know what to expect now.”

Is Jac really back? The rumor mill went wild last week with reports that former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita is set to star in a few scenes later this season.

Yes, it’s true, Jacqueline will be making a return towards the end of the season,” a source revealed to E! News. “Because she still has a close relationship with Kathy [Wakile], her scenes will mostly be with Kathy.”

She is not coming back to stir the pot or confront her sister-in-law Dina [Manzo]. People assume that’s what she’s coming back to do, but she’s not. Her appearance is relatively drama-free.”

However, unlike Adrienne, Jacqueline has not yet talked about this herself. A source close to the mother of 3 told us nothing has been decided yet. “It’s a possibility,” our source said, “and she will only do it if it is right for her and her family, but she has been approached and is thinking about it.”

As for fan speculation that scenes were already filmed and this was a Bravo smokescreen all along, “No, not at all. She really was out, anything she appears in this season will have to be filmed now and added in.

Whether she returns to RHONJ or not, Jac fans will get their fix this fall when she appears in her sister-in-law Caroline Manzo‘s  upcoming spinoff show, Manzo’d With Children.

Another Real Housewives marriage bites the dust…

Real Housewives of New York City‘s Ramona Singer, has announced that she and Mario Singer are officially separating after 27 years together.

I have decided to move on with my life without Mario,” Ramona tweeted last Thursday. “I tried my best to make my marriage work. I am excited for the new chapter in my life.”

Allegations that suggested Mario, 60, had been having an affair with a 27-year-old woman surfaced in October of last year. Although Mario and Ramona both denied the allegations, Ramona filed for divorce shortly after. Ramona later announced that she and Mario had reconciled and were trying to save their marriage.

When asked about her marriage on the recent RHONY reunion, Ramona put Andy Cohen in a deadlock.

“Everyone in my family is great,” she said. “We’re together now, but I have a daughter Avery, who I love dearly, who is 19, and because of that, that’s all I have to say on the matter.”

However, in a recent interview with Us Weekly, Ramona announced that her divorce is pending once again. Adding, “I am doing what is right for me and my daughter Avery, who is the most important person in the world to me.”

TBB‘s Tara Cushing saw Ramona, who was hosting a restaurant opening for a friend, late last month. “She looks amazing,” The Bravo Blonde, reported back to me, “but she wouldn’t interview with me and asked that I email questions. I have yet to receive a response. I was respectful in the email and asked nothing about her marriage. None the less, Mario was absolutely nowhere in sight that night.”

When one door closes…err the Singer union…another one opens…and the matrimonial door did just that for George Teichner and Dana Lavette Cody. George is the often offensive father of RHONY‘s Aviva Drescher, who didn’t walk through that “door” with them. According to an article in The Daily Mail, Drescher, who publicly has supported the union of her 76-year-old dad and 25-year-old new, uh stepmother, was a no show at their August 3d wedding ceremony in Malibu. The article states that Aviva simply “couldn’t find the time” to attend the wedding. Maybe the air wasn’t asthma friendly that weekend…

Last but not least, what’s a week in Housewives gossip without the sound of the police? And the latest fraud charge is awarded to…Dana Wilkey, the 25,000 dollar sunglass wearing friend of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. On June 18th, Wilkey was arrested and indicted for “conspiracy to commit wire fraud and aiding and abetting, and [making] false statements to government agents,” as an FBI press release read.

Wilkey was charged along with two other women, domestic partners, Skyler Ariel Phoenix and  Lissa Michele Phoenix. The press release states that Dana, president of Adwil Agency and Skyler, who worked at Blue Shield of California “entered into a  fraudulent marketing contract”.  For at least 6 years Dana paid around $360K in “illegal and undisclosed kickbacks related to Adwil Agency’s business with Blue Shield” while Skyler and Lissa defrauded Blue Shield to the tune of half a million dollars. All three women were each  released on $250K bond and face more fines and 20 years in prison per count. Oh Dana, we hope those expensive shades and lollipop necklaces were worth it…

Tell us— Are you excited for the return of Adrienne Maloof? Do you think Jac will come back? Do you believe Mario cheated on Ramona? Do you think Aviva really support her dad’s marriage? Did Dana ever trigger your “shadar”? Share your opinion below!

Reality Roundup: Get Him Out, Get Her On, Get Our Ratings Up

Melissa and Joe Gorga.

Melissa and Joe Gorga.

By Brent Osborne

We are one week away from the premier of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but things are less than flowery in one of the Garden State’s backyards. Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga and husband Joe are suing the inhabitant of their former home.

It turns out the couple’s Montville, NJ mansion was never actually sold, despite the claims that they received their full 3.8 million dollar asking price last August. There had been much speculation as to why a sale had never been legally recorded and it’s come out that the sale was actually a rent to purchase agreement with Kai D. Patterson, a software engineer and founder of Project Child Support. Reps for the Gorgas said that the agreement was “a purchase agreement with an extended close option…To date (Patterson) has failed to uphold his financial obligations under the agreement and provided bounced checks totaling $20,000 as well as failed to pay rent for the months of April, May, and June 2014…After repeated attempts to have (Patterson) honor his agreement, the Gorgas were left with no other choice, but to pursue legal action and filed a summons for eviction.”

Melissa, who has had to continue to pay the taxes on the mansion, told US Weekly, “I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt, but I am not going to pay for a complete stranger to live in a multi-million dollar home.”

Reality Tea published Kai Patterson’s statement regarding the issue. According to Patterson, the Gorgas have failed to fix several problems with the property, many that stem from burst pipes that resulted from Melissa shutting off the utilities last September. Patterson says that he entered into a lease/purchase agreement with the Gorgas that entitles him to the benefits of a renter/landlord situation, while putting money towards the downpayment of the house. After many chances for Joe to fix the problems associated with the property as per the agreement, and some back and forth personal business dealings with Joe, Patterson decided to refuse payment until the issues were addressed. Patterson also says he received hateful texts from Melissa, whom, he believes, did not have full knowledge of the deals he had made with Joe.

All I can say is, had Patterson watched last year’s RHONJ he may have seen this coming. Who can forget when Jennifer Dalton went to turn on a sink in the mansion and the knob came off? Red flagging much?

In other NJ news, former RHONJ Danielle Staub is ready to come back to Bravo, but is Bravo ready for her? In a desperate plea to get back on the show and defend her family, Danielle ranted on her Facebook page about needing to come back for the sake of her children. In a series of tweets she also stated that Bravo TV  and Andy Cohen have asked her back on more than one occasion. Truth or delusion? Either way on Saturday Staub called for her fans to petition the network.

While on the subject of HW  casting, with summer in full swing, casting rumors for the upcoming seasons of The Real Housewives are warming up

TMZ reports that two former reality stars are set to return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season! Former RHOBH cast members Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof were reportedly shooting scenes with the show’s current stars including Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Yolanda Foster,Kim Richards, and Brandi Glanville.

After the recent network firings of newcomers Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia, there are two openings! However, this RHOBH return is too good to be true! Although both Camille and Adrienne were filming at Kyle’s annual White Party, there are no plans for them to return to the series in any full capacity, People confirms.

Major cast renovations may be underway in New York! As the current season of The Real Housewives of New York continues to plummet in the ratings, Bravo execs may be taking a significant bite out of the Big Apple.

“Bravo doesn’t want to cancel the series because New York is the unofficial capital of the United States,” an insider told Radar Online. “The amount of wealth concentrated into such a small area makes it a major drawThe entire current cast, including Sonja Morgan, Heather Thomson, Luann de Lesseps, and Carole Radziwill are all expected to get pinks slips,” the source said.

The source continued to say that Ramona Singer will most likely be the only current RHONY star to be offered a contract to return next season and that “Aviva Drescher could be offered a much smaller role, of series guest star.”

Remember, however, casting rumors always abound with Housewives. After the dramatic sixth season and an intense reunion brawl, rumors surrounding the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta began spiraling out of control. Porsha Williams was thought to have been fired after being removed from the season six reunion taping after an argument with cast mate Kenya Moore turned physical. Speculation surrounding the return of RHOA veteran NeNe Leakes also spiked after the dramatic reunion show.

Despite the rumors, all six ladies will be returning for season seven of the hit reality show. Porsha, Kenya, and Nene will be back to grace our telivision screens along with Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, and Kandi Burruss. The ladies are set to begin filming in the next few weeks. Season seven of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is likely to premier this November.

That’s all for now, but Reality Roundup will be back on WEDNESDAY! Lesley Rousso will dish weekly about some of the hottest reality TV shows on E!, MTV, VH1, FOX and many more in a new On Beyond Bravo column! Stay tuned!
