Once again  I will be subbing for guru of gossip Brent Osborne. He’s filled me in on the juiciest stories this week, plus I’ve got some nuggets I’ve got to toss in as well. So without further ado let’s get started, and remember, if you join in the conversation you could win a gift card from this month’s Housewife Hot Item sponsor Wrapadoo!

Our first stop this week is in my own backyard with the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Though their fans may think otherwise, former prosecutor and legal news commentator Nancy Grace says that Teresa and Joe Giudice are “going down.” These were the exact words she used to describe her prediction of their fate when a caller on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live asked her to weigh in on the couple’s 39 fraud count indictment.

“I think they were in it together and you know what? You can get away with shoplifting, maybe stealing a car, but don’t mess with the feds when it comes to money. Never mess with the tax man. Never mess with the feds, alright? They have no mercy.”

Grace went on to compare the two to Martha Stewart saying that the Giudices will be “used as an example to other people.”

A source very close to Teresa disagrees. “She didn’t know what she was signing,” the good friend of the 41 year-old Housewives star told me when the story first broke over the summer. “She was busy having babies and shopping, she had no idea what she was signing. When you are in a marriage and trust your partner you don’t always read what they put in front of you.”

Teresa recently broke her silence regarding her legal troubles in an exclusive interview with In Touch Weekly. “Look – every family has problems. Nobody’s perfect. I have to be strong for my kids…especially Gia – she’s the only one who knows anything is going on, so I do everything I can to make her feel comfortable.”

The Giudices are set to stand trial on February 24th.

Things are certainly a lot more cheery over at the Manz-sion. A new show Manzo’d With Children isn’t the only new endeavor for the reality star family. On the heels of the success of their Hoboken, NJ restaurant Little Town NJ brothers Albie and Chris Manzo are opening their next restaurant and soon!

Along with their Little Town partners (Michael Sinensky and Sean McGarr of Funbars.com) US Weekly reported that the duo will be opening a “Vegas style” sports bar at Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment as early as November 23d.  The venue, to be called Victory Sports Bar and Club, will include both private party event space and a weekly night club. They will follow that up with Victory Terrace, a rooftop establishment in April.

These Manzo kids are making their momma proud! Manzo matriarch Caroline tweeted on Thursday.

Last Saturday I was at Little Town and apparently missed the elder Manzo offspring by an hour. “I’m on my way back from city,” Albie texted me via Twitter direct message. Perhaps the ambitious 27 year-old was at a business meeting with the NYC based Sinensky and McGarr. Keep coming back to TBB for my thoughts on Little Town and a special RHONJ surprise coming soon!

Jetting acrosse the country there’s some fresh squeezed OJ coming from The Real Housewives of Orange County. After only once season OC newbie Lydia McLaughlin is saying sayonara. According to an article in US Weekly the decision was McLaughlin’s. She says she was asked back but…”never wanted to make a career out of being a Housewife…I want to build my brand outside of the Housewives…I’ve always been really honest with the producers about that. I knew that while I was filming it and that I probably wasn’t going to be doing it again.”

McLaughlin will now be remembered as another one season Housewife wonder like Peggy Tanous also of RHOC and RHONY Cindy Barshop. McLaughlin takes with her; 2 children, a holy rolling marriage, and a pot smoking bunny loving mother. Oh and also Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino who reportedly were not asked back.

Lydia’s co-star and veteran HW Tamra Judge recently fired her PR rep, according to an insider. Apparently the newlywed has been shopping around a book without much success and is pointing her well manicured finger at Illumination PR who had been handling her. However, our source told us exclusively that they had seen Tamra’s book proposal and that it frankly “isn’t that good.”

Judge is not the first Housewife to have been represented by Illumination. The firm at one time handled Melissa Gorga who also moved on to a different rep.

Vicki Gunvalson is going to have to talk to the judge, and we don’t mean her OC castmate. Legal drama continues with her former Vicki’s Vodka partner Robert Williamson. Williamson who sued Vicki for fraud originally has had the tables turned on him. Radar Online reports that Vicki’s attorneys are looking to have the trial moved to federal court. Vicki claims that Williamson tried to “frame, expose, or blackmail” her and that Williamson engages in illicit conduct like running an unlicensed gambling venture.

Last week was a huge premiere week for Bravo TV and one of its home run shows already has a major strike out. Shahs of Sunset premiered on Tuesday and though Season 2’s premiere attracted over two million viewers, the Season 3 premiere brought in less than 1.2 million leaving us to wonder where half the audience went. Also premiered last week was The Real Housewives of Atlanta, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and Vanderpump Rules.

RHOA returned with its Season 5 cast in tact, while RHOBH boasts two new ladies Carton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud. Last season Adrienne Maloof made her exit mid season while Taylor Armstrong and Camille Grammar stepped down to smaller roles and are rumored to not appear this season at all.

Reality Roundup: The Real Housewives of New Jersey Rodeo!

Caroline Manzo (Source: Getty Images)

For all the table-flipping, screaming and stripping allegations that are tossed around on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, we could always count on Caroline Manzo to be the voice of reason amongst the cast.

However, Caroline may be throwing in the towel after five drama-filled seasons on RHONJ. Manzo, an original cast member of the show, may not be returning for season six of the hit reality series.

“Caroline leaving is a natural progression,” a source told E! News. “As to the reason why, it will become clearer to viewers in the season finale and the reunion episodes why this was the right decision at the right time for her.”

However, an insider indicated to Us WeeklyNothing is final.”

Despite Manzo’s possible looming departure, fans of the family matriarch will not have to say their goodbyes just yet.

Bravo has given the green light to a pilot starring Caroline and her family. Manzo’d With Children (working title) will follow the Housewife in her duties as the “ringleader of the crazy circus that is her Italian family.”

Caroline’s sister, Fran, who we met earlier this season on RHONJ, will also be part of the pilot as she continues to bring in stray animals, including a pet pig, to the house.

Interesting enough, The Real Housewives of New Jersey may be undergoing a sibling swap.

Marked by the impending departure of her estranged sister, Dina Manzo may be returning to the show In Touch Magazine reports.

Dina is “in serious talks” to return to the hit reality series after a three-season hiatus. “The timing is perfect,” a source told In Touch.

“Dina Manzo’s return to the show is all but a done deal,” another source explained.

The changes coming to The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast do not stop there.

Rumor has it, friend to the site Jacqueline Laurita has gotten the pink slip from the network following the lack of a storyline and cannoli maven Kathy Wakile has been demoted to a “Friend of the Housewives”.

Reality Tea suggests that producers felt that once the feuding between Kathy and cousin Teresa Giduice died down, Kathy was unable to hold viewer’s attention. In addition, they reveal that the only reason for Kathy’s presence on the show next season is because producers do not want to loose her sister Rosie! Ouch.

A new full-time Housewife may also be added to the mix, RumourFix revealed. Could it finally be one of Housewives friends? Cough Cough, Kim D, Cough Cough.

As of now, The Real Housewives of New Jersey has not officially been renewed for a sixth season. The new season is tentatively slated to begin filming by December; however, no cast contracts have yet been offered by Bravo.

The show’s future may be more uncertain now than it has been in the past, given Teresa and Joe Giudice’s legal troubles.

Teresa and Joe were indicted this past summer on 39-counts of federal fraud and tax charges that, according to legal experts, may cause them both to serve time in federal prison.

The 39-count indictment details charges of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications and bankruptcy fraud, against the couple.

The indictment also accuses Joe Giudice of failing to file tax returns for 2004 through 2008.

The couple pled not guilty to the charges; however, if convicted Teresa and Joe could each face decades behind bars. Joe even faces being deported to Italy if he is found guilty of just one of the 39 counts in the indictment, prosecutors said — as it emerged recently that he is not a US citizen.

Added to that, Juicy Joe is currently awaiting trial for allegedly impersonating his brother, Pete Giudice, to illegally obtain a driver’s license after his own was suspended for a DWI. He can face up to 10 years in prison for those charges.

The couple will be opening up about their legal woes on a special episode of Watch What Happens Live airing tonight at 9pm EST (Sunday, September 29th) on Bravo. Host Andy Cohen sits down with the reality television stars to discuss their indictment and how they are managing to keep their lives together.

In a sneak preview of the sit-down, an emotional Teresa says she is trying to stay strong for their children.

I can’t fall apart, Andy. I have my daughters, they mean the world to me … maybe something that my daughters can learn from this is that my mom was really strong through all of this and was there for us and I hope they always have that with them,” Teresa said wiping away tears.

Season five of The Real Housewives of New Jersey will come to a close as viewers witness parts of the fireworks that shot off at Kim D’s Posche 2 grand opening.

A brawl involving RHONJ cast members broke out at the event, which took place earlier this year, and footage from that evening will be featured in tonight’s season finale.

Jacqueline Laurita, Chris Laurita and Joe Gorga were all charged with assault following the brawl after a lawsuit was filed by Penny Drossos’s husband,  Johnny Karagiorgis.

According to NorthJersey.com, a deal was brokered between the cast-members’ lawyers and Johnny Karagiorgis’ attorney this week and the charges were dropped.

A judge signed off on the deal in court on September 26th and dismissed the charges.

Don’t miss the season five finale tonight, Sunday, September 29th, at 8pm EST followed by the Teresa and Joe Giudice Watch What Happens Live special at 9pm EST.

And mark your calendars for the 90-minute Reunion Part 1 on Sunday, October 6th at 8pm EST.

Reality Roundup

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season four cast. (Source: Bravo)

They’re baaaaaack! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are back this November and there may be some new faces in the cast!

Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia have joined the cast for the fourth season of the hit reality series.

Joyce is a Puerto Rican actress who currently stars in NBC‘s faux-reality series Siberia. She and her husband, producer Michael Ohoven, have two children together.

Carlton, who grew up in London, is a former actress who appeared in television shows such as Suddenly Susan and The Young and the Restless.  She and her husband David Gebbia, the owner of StockCross Financial Services, have three children together and live in a lavish 12,800 square foot home.

In addition to the newbies, Lisa Vanderpump, Yolanda Foster, Brandi Glanville, Kyle Richards and Kim Richards are all returning for Season 4 of the show. But where is Taylor Armstrong?

Taylor, who has starred on the show since its debut in 2010, is officially no longer featured as a full-fledged Housewife.

“Taylor is not returning as a Housewife,” a source told E! News. “You’ll see her here and there in a few scenes, but that will be the extent of her participation.”

Despite the cast changes, there will be no shortage of drama this season. Watch the season four trailer here!

The new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will premiere on Monday, November 4th on Bravo.

Beverly Hills isn’t the only Real Housewives city getting a makeover! Casting decisions for season nine of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County may leave two blonde bombshells unemployed.

Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino have both been fired from RHOC, an insider told Star Magazine. According to their source, producers were unhappy with Gretchen and Alexis this season because of their lack of a storyline. The producers feel they contributed very little to season eight’s success.

Production for the ninth season is rumored to begin this month.

The countess is back on the market!  The Real Housewives of New York City star LuAnn de Lessepes has split from boyfriend Jacques Azoulay.

“They are at different points in their life now and have mutually agreed it is best,” LuAnn’s rep told Us Weekly. “LuAnn is upset, but it’s amicable and they remain friends. Jacques has been a wonderful part of her life.”

“I love both LuAnn and Jacques and feel for them during this difficult time,” LuAnn’s former Real Housewives costar Kelly Bensimon told Us.

LuAnn thanked her fans for their support Friday after news of the split broke. “Thanks for all your kind words today. Know that they were truly appreciated. Xo,” she tweeted.

De Lesseps is reportedly set to return for the upcoming sixth season of The Real Housewives of New York City.

All that glitters is gold on Bravo’s Shahs of Sunset.

The hit reality series will enter its third season this fall—and it will be wilder than ever!

Asa, GG, Lilly, MJ, Mike and Reza are living the good life as we see them clubbing, boating, getting pampered, whitewater river-rafting and of course, creating drama.

Aside from the typical turmoil, this season we will witness the group embark on a trip to Turkey, planned by Persian Pop Priestess and Diamond Water entrepreneur Asa. On the trip, the group will reconnect with their heritage and come as close to their Iranian homeland as they can.

Season three of Shahs premieres November 5th.

We’ve been talking about it for months….and it seems like the idea of a Manzo spin-off is finally in the works!

Bravo has given the green light to a pilot starring The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Caroline Manzo and her family, TheWrap has learned.

Manzo’d With Children (working title) will follow the Housewife in her duties as the “ringleader of the crazy circus that is her Italian family.”

Caroline’s sister, Fran, who we met earlier this season on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, will also be part of the pilot as she continues to bring in stray animals, including a pet pig, to the house.

The show’s logline reads: “It’s one crowded house filled with personality, laughter and ham… in both pig and honey-baked forms.”

Caroline and her family have been a fixture on The Real Housewives of New Jersey since its premiere in 2009.

If the pilot is ordered to series, Caroline will join the elite group of Real Housewives who have landed their own spinoff series, including Atlanta’s NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak, and Kandi Buruss; Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump; Orange County’s Tamra Barney; and New York’s Bethenny Frankel.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta are set to make a gone-with-the-wind-fabulous return to Bravo as season six of the hit series returns  November 3rd.

According to the official Season 6 cast page, there are no new faces within the cast this season. NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Porsha Stewart, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, and Phaedra Parks will all be back to dish out all of the southern drama!
