By Lesley Rousso

Where do I begin? We all watched this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , mostly appalled. Sorry, but I’m not sorry, it’s true. The season brought us two new Housewives, Joyce Giraud  and Carlton Gebbia. Each came with their own brand of drama, but the real drama involved veterans Brandi Glanville  and Lisa Vanderpump. For Brandi, it was another season of inexcusable, but ultimately excused, bad behavior. Her alchohol infused tirades got old quickly and I was easily exhausted by her. What I couldn’t believe was that she  turned on her biggest supporter, LVP.

At first it was all about Lisa’s “mothering”. Brandi, under the false assumption that she doesn’t need any guidance, felt she was being bossed around by her former BFF. Then the conflict centered around Scheana. Brandi was convinced that Lisa purposely brought her around to upset her. Can we say reaching here? Honestly it seemed as if all season she was looking for a way to stir up trouble with the Vanderpumps. Kyle Richards, prone to Mean Girls type behavior, was happy to join in on the “lets bash Lisa olympics”. Then Yolanda Foster decided to hop on the bandwagon. If you ask me the whole season just evolved into everyone but Joyce and Carlton turning on Lisa and Ken. (Subplots included Kyle and Carlton accusing each other of horrible things and Brandi against Joyce, or shall I say Jacqueline.)

By the time the season was winding down I had sympathy anxiety as far as Lisa was concerned. Season four ended as it started, at a Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce event, but things had definitely changed. The three part reunion rolled around and mercifully finished off Monday night. As much as I love and adore Andy Cohen, you don’t have to be Nancy Drew to see where his loyalties lie. It was painful to watch.

So, where does the future lie for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Who will return next season and will there even be a next season? As much as the majority of us loathe Brandi, there’s no doubt with Andy behind her, she’ll be back. Did Joyce and Carlton add enough to the drama to merit a return? Rumor has it they didn’t. Does Kim Richards even deserve to come back after much of the season centered around her training her dog? Boooooring. Then there’s continuing talk of Faye Resnick joining the cast. Excuse me, I just threw up in my mouth a little. I’m not sure what’s next, but I cannot and will not watch another season of bashing Lisa Vanderpump. Unfortunately with the status of Lisa and Brandi’s relationship currently, I’m afraid that’s what we may be in for, if this show sees another season at all. Guess we’ll have to stay tuned…

Reality Roundup

On Wednesday The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Stewart made her first official appearance since her marriage split.  Porsha attended the Bravo Upfront Presentations just two weeks after her estranged husband, Kordell Stewart filed for divorce.

Porsha told reporters outside the event that although she is going through a difficult time, her supportive family is helping her get by. “When you have strong arms and strong family around you, they cover you -– that’s what they’re there for,” she said, according to Us Weekly. “So that’s who I’m leaning on. And it’s really a blessing to see people, supporters and fans are standing up and just really showing me the love.”

Now that the third season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has ended, viewers want to know which cast members will be back for season four?! With Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof gone and the new rumors surrounding Taylor Armstrong‘s departure, fans of the show want some answers!

One answer is that RHOBH guest-star, Faye Resnick will not be returning. Faye turned down the offer to become a full-time cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season, according to RadarOnline.  In fact, Faye does not even want to appear on the show in the future. Resnick’s decision to not return isn’t the only headache producers of the show have to deal with. Part-time Beverly Hills housewife, Marisa Zanuck may not return for Season 4 either.

The newest name to be thrown back into the mix of possible Real Housewives replacements is Lisa Rina, who was reportedly approached to join the cast for season one back in 2011. A source revealed to Radar Online that “Lisa already knows people at Bravo and they really like her. She’s funny but she’s got a great sense of humor so she can send zingers.” Other possible replacements include former Extra host and Plastic Wives star Dayna Devon.

Finally, ratings for part two of the Beverly Hills reunion soared with over 2.1 million viewers at airtime.  Brandi Glanville spilled about her friendships with the Beverly Hills ladies in her latest BravoTV.com blog. “Lisa is an amazing human being, mentor, and friend, and Yolanda is the same. I would ‘cut a bitch’ for either on of them. Kyle, Kim, and Taylor can be fun at times but those are the kind of girls you have to watch yourself around.” So what about Adrienne? Did she miss her at the reunion?  “I was relieved that Adrienne [Maloof] didn’t [show], but then again I kind of figured she wouldn’t if she couldn’t bring her lawyer with her.” Ouch!

Bravo has officially announced the renewal of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for a fourth season, The Real Housewives of New York City for a sixth season, The Real Housewives of Miami for a third season and The Real Housewives of Atlanta for a sixth season.

Speaking of RHOA, three of the Georgia Peaches have official spinoffs—including Phaedra Parks! “When the rich and famous of Atlanta have a dispute, they know that only one lawyer will deliver some cold, hard justice: Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” the official description from Bravo reads. “Whether it’s friends battling over an $8,000 loan or accusations of stolen Chanel handbags or confusion over a prenuptial agreement and whether it entitles you to two or three live-in staff members, the rich certainly have an odd sense of what qualifies it as a problem in today’s world, and Phaedra will be there to help them sort it all out.”

Phaedra’s personal life will likely come into play as well in Rich People’s Problems (working title). Phaedra, who is expecting her second child with her husband Apollo Nida, certainly leads a colorful life!

Bravo execs have also ordered new seasons of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles and Million Dollar Listing New York. Top Chef, Top Chef Masters, Tabatha Takes Over and Vanderpump Rules have all been picked up for all new seasons as well. For a full list of the new and returning series, click here.

Fans will also be seeing a lot more of Jeff Lewis on the network! Bravo ordered new seasons of both Flipping Out and Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis. Jeff also landed a third gig on the network in an upcoming new series titled Property Envy. In a recent interview with TV Guide Magazine Jeff spoke about his newest television show. “You already have two property design shows,” the mag stated. “How will Property Envy be different?” “It’s a design and real estate show where I serve on a panel of judges,” Jeff responded. “It’s kind of like Fashion Police, but it’s for design and real estate so it’s fast and funny and quick. You’ll see gorgeous homes and then we guess the prices. And we do a little celebrity real estate.”

So, who else is on the panel?Mary McDonald from Million Dollar Decorators, who is hysterical. It was funny because we did all these chemistry tests and Mary and me really jelled the best. Now the problem is that we’re looking for a third person, and we think we found her. It’s interesting because it’s not exactly who I thought — I thought we all were going to love each other, but we don’t all love each other. I guess that makes for good TV.”

So what shows didn’t get picked up? Unfortunately Bravo has axed most of the new lineup from 2012-2013. In fact the ONLY new show to get a second season is Vanderpump Rules. Second season shows like Kathy and Pregnant in Heels have also claimed their place in Reality TV heaven. Here’s hoping Bravo finds some new winning ideas in the upcoming months.

Teresa and Joe Giudice (Source: Peter Kramer/Bravo/NBCU Photo Bank)

The season five premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is just around the corner! Melissa Gorga, Kathy Wakile, Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice will all be returning for the new season of the series which airs the first week of June according to our sources. However, will all the househusbands return?

There is no end in sight for Joe Giudice’s legal toubles. Husband of RHONJ star Teresa Giudice, Joe, has turned down a plea bargain in light of the identify theft charges against him. Joe allegedly falsely obtained a driver’s license in his brother’s name a few years back after his own license was revoked.

InTouch reports that if Joe had taken the deal, he would have had to serve up to four years in NJ State Prison.  Now, if Joe is found guilty during his court trial, he could be facing up to 10 years behind bars. “Today [April 1] the state offered him NJ State Prison, and we rejected that offer,” Joe’s attorney, Miles Feinstein told the magazine. “Instead, we set a trial scheduling hearing for May 28, since we’re rejecting the new plea offer.”

Two other househusbands, Chris Laurita and Joe Gorga may also be facing some legal trouble. Both were rumored to have been called in for questioning after a brawl at Kim D’s second Posche store opening. Details about the scuffle are all over the net, however having been at the event, filmed for the show, we can’t comment.

Only three of the Real Housewives of New York City attended the Bravo Upfronts on Wednesday night. Carole Radziwill, Ramona Singer and Heather Thompson were the only N.Y. ladies present at the event, leaving LuAnn de Lesseps, Aviva Drescher and Sonja Morgan noticeably absent. So, which of the Big Apple babes will be returning for the upcoming season? The NY Daily News is reporting that Ramona will certainly be back as will Heather and Carole. However, Countess LuAnn, Aviva and Sonja are still under contract negotiations over money although Bravo is still unsure whether or not they want the three ladies to return. “They may want to round out the cast with fresh meat,” a source told Confidenti@l. Reality Roundup

Faye Resnick (Source: Jason Merritt/Getty Images)

It’s been a week full of divorce, rekindling friendships, and some made-for-TV drama.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be getting quite the makeover for Season 4 as yet another housewife bites the dust in the 90210.

Faye Resnick will not be accepting the offer to become a full-time cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season. In fact, Radar Online is reporting that Faye, who has been a recurring cast member on the series for the past three seasons, does not even want to appear on the show in the future.

“Faye is a tough cookie, so for her to say that things have become so bad that she is finished with the show, is a big development,” a source tells Radar. “She’s a very successful interior designer and being on the show is just bad for business — not to mention the fact that Faye says it is ruining her life.”

“After the episodes aired in which she got into an argument with Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump, Faye started getting all these hateful, nasty tweets — it was just absolutely shocking to her that people are so emotionally invested in the show, and are bold enough to say such ugly and mean things,” the source continued.

As we reported a few weeks back, Faye was a possible replacement for Adrienne Maloof who left the show earlier this month.

“Producers are extremely disappointed Faye won’t be back next season because the drama is ratings gold — but, quite frankly, it just isn’t worth it for her to be on the show.”

Resnick’s decision to not return isn’t the only headache producers of the show have to deal with. Part-time Beverly Hills housewife, Marisa Zanuck may not return for Season 4 either.

In her official Bravo blog, Marisa hinted that she will not partake in the next season of the show.

“In truth, I have moved past all of the drama, and I don’t want to acknowledge it anymore,” Marisa wrote on Monday (March 25). “This is my final blog and I want to dedicate it to all of you that have supported me immensely throughout this experience.”

“I don’t think anyone or anything can prepare someone for becoming a part of the Housewives,” she said. “A Housewife must be many things: she must be media-savvy and tech-savvy. She must think about what she says and its potential impact, she must have a thick skin to handle the constructive criticism and a sense of humor about her to enjoy the creativity of the many writers that blog the show. A Housewife must also recognize that she is not perfect and be willing to learn from her mistakes. If 10,000 people are telling you that you are being a b***h, they can’t all be wrong”

Although Marisa wrote her blog with a sense of finality, she took to Twitter to answer our suspicions:

However, Marisa’s departure of the show isn’t the only question we have about her this week. On a recent episode of RHOBH, we witnessed Marisa ask Kyle Richards‘s husband, Mauricio Umansky to co-list the sale of  her in-laws’ mega-million dollar mansion. However, according to reports from The Wall Street Journal, the property sold for $20.1 million with Marisa listed as the sole realtor of the property!

Was the co-listing staged for the show, or did Marisa and Mauricio have a falling out?

“The reports of a falling out are not true,” Marisa’s rep told Reality TV Magazine. “Marisa and Mauricio discussed the co-listing opportunity at length, and it was determined that Marisa would sell the home on her own. There are no hard feelings.”

Sounds like a staged production to me!

NeNe Leakes may have given her ex-husband a second chance when the couple got re-engaged this past New Years, but will NeNe mend the sorry rifts with her ex-best-friend Kim Zolciak?

Not only does the housewife turned actress want to bare no malice with her former Real Housewives of Atlanta castmate, but she’s inviting her to her upcoming wedding!

“[Kim’s] invited to my wedding, and I believe she’ll come,” NeNe told In Touch in an interview. “I’m extending an olive branch.”

The duo recently made up during the filming of the three part RHOA reunion. Part one of the reunion special will air April 7th on Bravo. I am so happy about this, y’all!

Kordell and Porsha Stewart (Source: Dream Design Weddings)

Atlanta’s season five newcomer, Porsha Stewart was completely blindsided this week when husband Kordell Stewart filed for divorce after less than two years of marriage.

According to TMZ, the former Pittsburgh Steelers star filed divorce papers in Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia on Friday, March 22. The filing says his marriage to Porsha is “irretrievably broken.”

“Mrs. Stewart is disappointed about her husband’s recent filing for divorce,” Porsha’s rep told Us Weekly. “Mrs. Stewart had held off on filing for a divorce herself and remained committed to the marriage because Mr. Stewart promised to work on the marriage with her. Instead, he misled her and she found out about the filing in the media. Mrs. Stewart hopes to resolve these personal issues privately with the support of her family, friends and strong faith.”

The divorce papers claim that Porsha should not be entitled to any spousal support because she is highly capable of earning her own income. However, Porsha is opening up a whole new can of worms—firing back at her now estranged husband claiming she sacrificed two years of her life to take care of Kordell’s son from a previous relationship! Claiming she left her job and even sold her business to take care of him!

Not only is Porsha demanding alimony from Kordell, she is also seeking full ownership of their Atlanta home!

After a season filled with debates over having children and having a career, the couple’s split isn’t a surprise to fans of the show. Porsha made it clear throughout the season that if the couple were to have children, she wanted to be a working mother; however, Kordell only wanted Porsha to be a typical—for lack of a better word—housewife.

This is going to be one messy divorce!

The filming for the fifth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is almost a wrap, however our sources have revealed that there are still some cameras following the ladies!

One of them being star of the show, Melissa Gorga! Melissa is dishing on all the secrets to keeping her marriage alive and joyous in her first book, Love Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage which hits shelves September 17th.

Although Bravo has not yet announced a premiere date for the upcoming season of RHONJ, we guess that the loving ladies of The Garden State will be back this May!

Fans of The Real Housewives of Miami are sure to be happy that the ladies of The Sunshine State will be returning for a third season! Although the announcement has not been officially made by Bravo, the show’s production company hinted in a tweet that filming has already begun.

But are the Miami housewives the ONLY reality stars in Florida? Not for long!

Tulloch Media Communications, Inc. has released a reality television show pilot based out of south Florida. The Real Housewives type show entitled, The Real Caribbean Wives of South Florida “was produced to feature Caribbean wives living in South Florida and across the states, raising families, balancing marriage, career/business, living the American Dream with a cultural difference trying to fit in.”  (sflcn.com)

Although Andy Cohen is the master-mind behind all of the Real Housewives shows, something tells me he won’t be involved with this one.

Speaking of the Bravo bigwig, Andy visited The TODAY Show on Friday and was put in the hot seat when asked who his favorite housewife is.

“That is horrible! That is a terrible question,” Andy responded. “I would get in terrible trouble. … I love when any of them really succeed.”

“You know, NeNe Leakes is going through a major period of success — from, of course, The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” he shared. “She’s got a starring role in The New Normal on NBC. I’m especially proud of her right now.”

So it is pretty clear Andy has a soft spot for Ms. Leakes. But who is his least favorite housewife?

“Oh, yes! Let me tell everybody about it,” Andy joked. “Yes! Let me rank my top five least favorite Housewives for you right now. No! Love them all for different reasons.”
