Reality Roundup: The Real Housewives of New Jersey Rodeo!

For all the table-flipping, screaming and stripping allegations that are tossed around on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, we could always count on Caroline Manzo to be the voice of reason amongst the cast.

However, Caroline may be throwing in the towel after five drama-filled seasons on RHONJ. Manzo, an original cast member of the show, may not be returning for season six of the hit reality series.

“Caroline leaving is a natural progression,” a source told E! News. “As to the reason why, it will become clearer to viewers in the season finale and the reunion episodes why this was the right decision at the right time for her.”

However, an insider indicated to Us WeeklyNothing is final.”

Despite Manzo’s possible looming departure, fans of the family matriarch will not have to say their goodbyes just yet.

Bravo has given the green light to a pilot starring Caroline and her family. Manzo’d With Children (working title) will follow the Housewife in her duties as the “ringleader of the crazy circus that is her Italian family.”

Caroline’s sister, Fran, who we met earlier this season on RHONJ, will also be part of the pilot as she continues to bring in stray animals, including a pet pig, to the house.

Interesting enough, The Real Housewives of New Jersey may be undergoing a sibling swap.

Marked by the impending departure of her estranged sister, Dina Manzo may be returning to the show In Touch Magazine reports.

Dina is “in serious talks” to return to the hit reality series after a three-season hiatus. “The timing is perfect,” a source told In Touch.

“Dina Manzo’s return to the show is all but a done deal,” another source explained.

The changes coming to The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast do not stop there.

Rumor has it, friend to the site Jacqueline Laurita has gotten the pink slip from the network following the lack of a storyline and cannoli maven Kathy Wakile has been demoted to a “Friend of the Housewives”.

Reality Tea suggests that producers felt that once the feuding between Kathy and cousin Teresa Giduice died down, Kathy was unable to hold viewer’s attention. In addition, they reveal that the only reason for Kathy’s presence on the show next season is because producers do not want to loose her sister Rosie! Ouch.

A new full-time Housewife may also be added to the mix, RumourFix revealed. Could it finally be one of Housewives friends? Cough Cough, Kim D, Cough Cough.

As of now, The Real Housewives of New Jersey has not officially been renewed for a sixth season. The new season is tentatively slated to begin filming by December; however, no cast contracts have yet been offered by Bravo.

The show’s future may be more uncertain now than it has been in the past, given Teresa and Joe Giudice’s legal troubles.

Teresa and Joe were indicted this past summer on 39-counts of federal fraud and tax charges that, according to legal experts, may cause them both to serve time in federal prison.

The 39-count indictment details charges of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications and bankruptcy fraud, against the couple.

The indictment also accuses Joe Giudice of failing to file tax returns for 2004 through 2008.

The couple pled not guilty to the charges; however, if convicted Teresa and Joe could each face decades behind bars. Joe even faces being deported to Italy if he is found guilty of just one of the 39 counts in the indictment, prosecutors said — as it emerged recently that he is not a US citizen.

Added to that, Juicy Joe is currently awaiting trial for allegedly impersonating his brother, Pete Giudice, to illegally obtain a driver’s license after his own was suspended for a DWI. He can face up to 10 years in prison for those charges.

The couple will be opening up about their legal woes on a special episode of Watch What Happens Live airing tonight at 9pm EST (Sunday, September 29th) on Bravo. Host Andy Cohen sits down with the reality television stars to discuss their indictment and how they are managing to keep their lives together.

In a sneak preview of the sit-down, an emotional Teresa says she is trying to stay strong for their children.

I can’t fall apart, Andy. I have my daughters, they mean the world to me … maybe something that my daughters can learn from this is that my mom was really strong through all of this and was there for us and I hope they always have that with them,” Teresa said wiping away tears.

Season five of The Real Housewives of New Jersey will come to a close as viewers witness parts of the fireworks that shot off at Kim D’s Posche 2 grand opening.

A brawl involving RHONJ cast members broke out at the event, which took place earlier this year, and footage from that evening will be featured in tonight’s season finale.

Jacqueline Laurita, Chris Laurita and Joe Gorga were all charged with assault following the brawl after a lawsuit was filed by Penny Drossos’s husband,  Johnny Karagiorgis.

According to, a deal was brokered between the cast-members’ lawyers and Johnny Karagiorgis’ attorney this week and the charges were dropped.

A judge signed off on the deal in court on September 26th and dismissed the charges.

Don’t miss the season five finale tonight, Sunday, September 29th, at 8pm EST followed by the Teresa and Joe Giudice Watch What Happens Live special at 9pm EST.

And mark your calendars for the 90-minute Reunion Part 1 on Sunday, October 6th at 8pm EST.

Reality Roundup

Summer may be over, but the Real Housewives are just heating up!

The original Real Housewives of New Jersey villain Danielle Staub is making her return to Bravo this week. The prostitution-whore mother of two will sit down with Andy Cohen on an all new episode of Watch What Happens Live September 8th!

Danielle is prepared to clear the air on some of the rumors surrounding her and her family as well as share her opinions on her former co-stars.

Speaking of those co-stars it must have been a busy week for the New Jersey court system! Two separate cases involving stars of The Real Housewives of New Jersey have been postponed.

Earlier this year a brawl broke out at Kim D’s second Posche store opening involving members of the RHONJ cast. Details about the scuffle are all over the net, however having been at the event which was filmed for the show, we can’t comment.

Jacqueline Laurita, Chris Laurita and Joe Gorga were all charged with assault following the brawl after a lawsuit was filed by Johnny Karagiorgis. The matter was due in court on September 5th. reports that the charges of assault and terroristic threats have been adjourned and will no longer go before a criminal court judge. Instead, the trial will be heard in municipal court on September 26th.

The case against Johnny, filed as a result of charges being pressed by Jacqueline, Chris, and Joe, will also be adjourned and held in municipal court.

The brawl will reportedly be shown on an upcoming episode of RHONJ.

Teresa and Joe Giudice were slated to stand trail in Newark, NJ on October 8th after being indicted last month on 39-counts of federal fraud and tax charges. However, the couple will now appear in court on February 24th, 2014 after lawyers for both sides petitioned for a continuance.

Teresa and Joe both plead not guilty to the charges against them. However, if convicted, Teresa and Joe could each face decades behind bars. Joe even faces being deported to Italy if he is found guilty of just one of the 39 counts in the indictment as it emerged last month that he is not a US citizen.

Joe is still set to stand trial in October for using his brother’s identification to get a new license while his own was suspended due to a DUI. He can face up to 10 years in prison for those charges, alone.

It is no secret that The Real Housewives have their fair share of financial trouble. This time around it is the former Real Housewives of Miami star Karent Sierra. As we reported a few months ago, two of Karent’s properties were being foreclosed upon by their lending agents. Unfortunately, this rumor became a sad reality after her 1,200 square foot property was ordered to auction by a judge. The home, which is co-owned by her mom, was appraised for a mere $137,089.

Florida Community Bank was also awarded a judgment against Karent in the amount of $1.05 million dollars for back interest, principal, and fees attached to the home. Yikes…

Filming for season six of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is currently underway and when the cameras start rolling, the drama always seems to intensify!

A fight involving a couple of supporting castmembers broke out on Thursday night, and according to TMZ, cast member Brandon DeShazerKenya Moore’s assistant, caught the worst of the RHOA brawl.

Witnesses told TMZ that Apollo Nida, Phaedra Parks’ husband, “violently attacked” Brandon at an event being filmed for the show.

Apollo allegedly needed to be restrained by seven crewmembers before withdrawing.

The confrontation reportedly stems from Apollo’s anger and frustration after Brandon and Kenya allegedly went back on their promise to produce a workout video featuring Phaedra, and instead made their own, leaving Phaedra out of the mix.

Phaedra and Apollo have since gone on to produce their own series of workout DVDs entitled Phine Body.

Kandi Burruss’s hitmaker show, The Kandi Factory, is no more. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star confirmed the news on Twitter, stating that her spin-off show would not be coming back for another season.

The show  followed Kandi as she helped aspiring artists jumpstart their dreams of success in the music industry. Kandi is currently engaged to Todd Tucker. Could there be a wedding spin-off in her future?

One Atlanta Housewife who does have a wedding spin-off is Nene Leakes. Are you counting down the days until , I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding premieres? Well so am I! Catch the video promo for the show below!

The show hits Bravo on Tuesday, September 17.

Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars Adrienne Maloof and Dr. Paul Nassif have finally put their divorce behind them.

“We recently reached an agreement on all outstanding issues related to our divorce settlement and all pending litigation,” they told People Magazine in a joint statement.

Adrienne and Paul are “happy to be moving forward with our lives in a positive way, not only individually, but as co-parents,” they say. “This is a new beginning for each of us.”

“Our first priority is our children’s well-being and happiness,” they add. “As their parents and advocates that is our goal. Our children are our most important treasures and need to be treated with the respect and privacy they deserve. … We appreciate the good wishes we continue to receive from our supporters around the world.” Adrienne and Paul filed for divorce in August 2012 after announcing their separation one month earlier. They reached an initial settlement in November 2012.

This Roundup is winding down and so is the fifth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, as well as its ratings! The former ratings powerhouse took a hit with only 1.8 million viewers tuning in. Perhaps the season five reunion, which was filmed last week, will hike up the ratings.

The only guest a Real Housewife typically brings with her to a reunion taping is her hairdresser. However, for Teresa Giudice an extra guest pass was needed.

According to Wetpaint, Teresa brought her legal ace Henry Klingeman with her to the taping.

“Teresa wants to clear her name, but she’s extremely limited in what she can talk about,” a source told the site. “It’s very frustrating for her.”

Rumor has it that Dr. Venus Nicolino, the psychologist who tried to help Teresa and Joe Gorga mend their relationship on the group retreat, also attended the taping.

On Wednesday night celebrity beauty expert Lora Condon hosted The Beauty Buster Awards in New York City.  Condon, dubbed “the ultimate beauty insider” by Dr. Oz held the event at  Next Vanity Salon and Lexington Plastic Surgeons. I, on the mend from my own plastic surgery, was not in attendance, however that does not stop TBBReality from getting the scoop, especially since the reality television star of the hour was there.

It was the first public appearance, sans her Newark, New Jersey Federal Court entrance and exit Monday, for Teresa and husband Joe (Giuseppe) Giudice. The couple were charged with 39 counts of financial fraud. The Giudices’ charges include false loan applications and tax evasion dating back prior to their Real Housewives of New Jersey fame.

The mother of four is known for her tough as nails attitude, always smiling in the face of the worst of circumstances. Wednesday night, according to our exclusive source was no different. “She said it was great to be out…That you can’t stop living because of unfortunate circumstances.”

She also was there proving that her business endeavors are unstoppable.  Picking up an award for Best Specialty Hair Products for her Youthful 8 Milania Hair Care line, Giudice showed no signs of physical distress looking stunning in a fitted royal blue dress.

Giudice is one of a cast of Housewives who have had their share of legal troubles. Fellow RHONJ members Jacqueline Laurita, Chris Laurita, and Joe Gorga are set to appear in a Ridgewood, NJ court on September 5th on assault and threat charges stemming from a scuffle with John Karagiorgis during a filming in late March. The Lauritas have also had previous financial problems  including a bankruptcy filing that Jacqueline referred to in Season 4.
