The Real Housewives of New York City are back, and they are back in a big way, a big Bethenny (Frankel) way. If you love Bethenny this is great, if you’re not her biggest fan, well it might not be. “The show was at least 40% about her,” my husband quipped at the end of the Season 7 premier episode which aired last Tuesday. So what happened in the other 60?

Ramonja– Ramona Singer, fresh from a very public divorce, and Sonja Morgan, who is acting like she’s fresh from her divorce, continue to be best frenemies. They fight for dominance of conversation, of the camera. Hey ladies, give up, Bethenny wins.

Heather Thomson– I love her, but was she even in this episode?

Kristen Taekman– Her daughter is finished with physical therapy, which will leave her plenty of time to go for the psychiatric variety she will be needing from having had a mother on Housewives.

Carole Radziwill– Carole has missed a deadline for a book deal. Perhaps Aviva Drescher‘s suggestion of a ghost writer wasn’t such a bad idea after all.

Countess LuAnn DeLesseps– She looks very, umm, refreshed. Hey I’m not knocking it, I just want to know what she’s done. Spill the beans please Lulu!

Dorinda Medley– Though Sonja and Ramona assured me on my Huff Post Live appearance (see clip below) that she “hit the ground running”, she seems more Real Housewives of New Jersey to me, than RHONY. Maybe it’s her boyfriend who seems the Jersey dry cleaning stereotype.

Bethenny Frankel– Aaaand back to the star, hey, she has no control over how much they edit her in or out. She’s back with the one liners and she’s as interesting as always. One thing that lit up Twitter was her scene with Million Dollar Listing New York‘s Fredrik Eklund, in which a displaced B states she is homeless, in the same breath that she talks about having bought a house in the Hamptons over the summer. In the words of Ramona on that evening’s Watch What Happens Liveshe should rent something while she works on renovating her new apartment, and figuring out what to do about the one that her soon to be ex still inhabits. Between her and Kim Zolciak‘s similar statement on last season’s Don’t Be Tardy, I think it’s time for a new series…The Real Homeless Housewives, now that would be an interesting show. Skinnygirl dumpster dive recipes anybody?

PS: I was not at the premier party this year. I blame the harsh New York winter that made me a hermit on my absence of an invite. I turned too many invites down over the last few months. I love everybody and sincerely wanted to go to everything but, I don’t love you more than I hate the snow!

Reality Roundup: Get Him Out, Get Her On, Get Our Ratings Up

Melissa and Joe Gorga.

Melissa and Joe Gorga.

We are one week away from the premier of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but things are less than flowery in one of the Garden State’s backyards. Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga and husband Joe are suing the inhabitant of their former home.

It turns out the couple’s Montville, NJ mansion was never actually sold, despite the claims that they received their full 3.8 million dollar asking price last August. There had been much speculation as to why a sale had never been legally recorded and it’s come out that the sale was actually a rent to purchase agreement with Kai D. Patterson, a software engineer and founder of Project Child Support. Reps for the Gorgas said that the agreement was “a purchase agreement with an extended close option…To date (Patterson) has failed to uphold his financial obligations under the agreement and provided bounced checks totaling $20,000 as well as failed to pay rent for the months of April, May, and June 2014…After repeated attempts to have (Patterson) honor his agreement, the Gorgas were left with no other choice, but to pursue legal action and filed a summons for eviction.”

Melissa, who has had to continue to pay the taxes on the mansion, told US Weekly, “I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt, but I am not going to pay for a complete stranger to live in a multi-million dollar home.”

Reality Tea published Kai Patterson’s statement regarding the issue. According to Patterson, the Gorgas have failed to fix several problems with the property, many that stem from burst pipes that resulted from Melissa shutting off the utilities last September. Patterson says that he entered into a lease/purchase agreement with the Gorgas that entitles him to the benefits of a renter/landlord situation, while putting money towards the downpayment of the house. After many chances for Joe to fix the problems associated with the property as per the agreement, and some back and forth personal business dealings with Joe, Patterson decided to refuse payment until the issues were addressed. Patterson also says he received hateful texts from Melissa, whom, he believes, did not have full knowledge of the deals he had made with Joe.

All I can say is, had Patterson watched last year’s RHONJ he may have seen this coming. Who can forget when Jennifer Dalton went to turn on a sink in the mansion and the knob came off? Red flagging much?

In other NJ news, former RHONJ Danielle Staub is ready to come back to Bravo, but is Bravo ready for her? In a desperate plea to get back on the show and defend her family, Danielle ranted on her Facebook page about needing to come back for the sake of her children. In a series of tweets she also stated that Bravo TV  and Andy Cohen have asked her back on more than one occasion. Truth or delusion? Either way on Saturday Staub called for her fans to petition the network.

While on the subject of HW  casting, with summer in full swing, casting rumors for the upcoming seasons of The Real Housewives are warming up

TMZ reports that two former reality stars are set to return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season! Former RHOBH cast members Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof were reportedly shooting scenes with the show’s current stars including Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Yolanda Foster,Kim Richards, and Brandi Glanville.

After the recent network firings of newcomers Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia, there are two openings! However, this RHOBH return is too good to be true! Although both Camille and Adrienne were filming at Kyle’s annual White Party, there are no plans for them to return to the series in any full capacity, People confirms.

Major cast renovations may be underway in New York! As the current season of The Real Housewives of New York continues to plummet in the ratings, Bravo execs may be taking a significant bite out of the Big Apple.

“Bravo doesn’t want to cancel the series because New York is the unofficial capital of the United States,” an insider told Radar Online. “The amount of wealth concentrated into such a small area makes it a major drawThe entire current cast, including Sonja Morgan, Heather Thomson, Luann de Lesseps, and Carole Radziwill are all expected to get pinks slips,” the source said.

The source continued to say that Ramona Singer will most likely be the only current RHONY star to be offered a contract to return next season and that “Aviva Drescher could be offered a much smaller role, of series guest star.”

Remember, however, casting rumors always abound with Housewives. After the dramatic sixth season and an intense reunion brawl, rumors surrounding the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta began spiraling out of control. Porsha Williams was thought to have been fired after being removed from the season six reunion taping after an argument with cast mate Kenya Moore turned physical. Speculation surrounding the return of RHOA veteran NeNe Leakes also spiked after the dramatic reunion show.

Despite the rumors, all six ladies will be returning for season seven of the hit reality show. Porsha, Kenya, and Nene will be back to grace our telivision screens along with Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, and Kandi Burruss. The ladies are set to begin filming in the next few weeks. Season seven of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is likely to premier this November.

That’s all for now, but Reality Roundup will be back on WEDNESDAY! Lesley Rousso will dish weekly about some of the hottest reality TV shows on E!, MTV, VH1, FOX and many more in a new On Beyond Bravo column! Stay tuned!

Adding to the downward spiral of LuAnn de Lesseps’ career on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City, the Countess had to lower the listing price on her luxurious Hamptons farmhouse.

After over three months on the market, Luann cut the price of her estate by $255,000—bringing the listing price down to $8.995 million. Originally listed at $9.995 million back in December, the 2.2-acre lot boasts a 6,000-square-foot home with six bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms, an outdoor tennis court, heated pools, large outdoor patios, and a separate pool house.

Countess has been a star on The Real Housewives of New York City since its inauguration back in 2008. However, after a reported contract dispute, Luann has taken on a smaller recurring role on the new sixth season of the hit show.

“LuAnn isn’t considered an original,” RHONY co-star Ramona Singer boasted to Confidential at a premiere party last week. “She’s just a part-time Housewife, so really I’m the only standing original,” said Singer. “The reason is, I don’t play for the cameras, I play for me.”

Ramona’s unpleasant demeanor was more present than ever when I bumped into her on Tuesday evening at The Real Housewives of New York City premiere party. Ramona was sans wedding ring and wore a fitted red dress to the event which was hosted by the newest cast member Kristen Taekman. Ramona was escorted by a new mystery man—has she already moved on from Mario?! Perhaps!

The Pinot Grigio enthusiast filed for divorce from her husband, Mario, of 22 years this past January after years of cheating allegations proved true.

The new sixth season of The Real Housewives of New York City airs Tuesday nights on Bravo.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa and Joe Giudice will be sentenced this summer after pleading guilty in federal court to multiple charges last week. Real Housewives guru Andy Cohen sat down with E! News to discuss how the Giudice’s legal issues will affect the show.

“We’re shooting next season right now,” Andy revealed. “So there’s going to be a lot in there that’s going to be quite dramatic and different than anything we’ve ever seen before.”

When asked if Teresa would be able to film RHONJ if sentenced to house arrest, the Watch What Happens: Live host said he and Teresa will cross that bridge when they get to it. “I’m gonna let her get through the sentencing, and then we’ll all talk.”

For now, Andy’s primary focus is ensuring the couple’s four daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana are alright. “I don’t know much about the situation,” Andy says. “(but) I certainly am thinking about kids right now.”

Is Adrienne Maloof returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season 5? Recent reports claim that network executives are interested in bringing Adrienne back into the mix after season four’s low ratings.

Despite the several claims, an insider told Life & Style magazine that the reports are simply false.

The 52-year-old reality star was publicly booted from the series by Andy Cohen after she skipped out on the season three reunion show last year.

“She knew if she didn’t show up to the reunion, she’d be cut,” an insider told Life & Style last year. “But she didn’t want to go and have to sit through all of the women attacking her.”

“I’m happier that I’m off the show,” the mother-of-two told the mag last year. “I don’t miss the cattiness or the below-the-belt cheap shots.”

Donald Trump better hold onto his weave! With more than one Real Housewife in the boardroom, season seven of Celebrity Apprentice is sure to be full of drama!

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville and The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore are packing their bags and heading to New York City to star on the hit reality show.

Brandi and Kenya are not the first Real Housewives stars to appear on the show. RHOA star NeNe Leakes appeared on the show and RHONJ cast-member Teresa Giudice made it to the final five back in 2012.

According to TMZ, the pair will be joined by Dancing with the Stars and mother of eight Kate Gosselin, rapper Ludacris, actress Vivica A. Fox, journalist Geraldo Rivera, Cosby Show alum Keshia Knight Pulliam, and other celebrities.

Season 14 of Celebrity Apprentice will begin filming this spring and will air on NBC in the 2014-2015 season. The cast will be officially announced on Thursday, March 20th.

Season nine of The Real Housewives of Orange County will be premiering on Bravo this spring! With a serious cast shake-up and tons of animosity, this is sure to be dramatic season!

Alexis Bellino, Gretchen Rossi, and Lydia McLaughlin will not be appearing on season nine of the show.  While both Alexis and Gretchen got the ax by Bravo, Lydia announced she was leaving on her own accord.

Joining returning cast members Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney-Judge and Heather Dubrow, are Lizzie Rovsek and Shannon Beador.

Lizzie, a friend of Tamra’s and a former Miss Kentucky, is married and has two children. Shannon, a native Californian and stay-at-home mom, has three daughters.

The cast will also be joined by “friend of the housewives” Danielle Gregorio.

Season nine of The Real Housewives of Orange County will premiere April 14th at 9pm on Bravo. Catch a glimpse of what is to come below!
