Reality Roundup

I hear another spin-off in the works… The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong, is engaged!

Lawyer John Bluher proposed to the 42-year-old reality star on Thursday at the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in Mexico, E! News exclusively confirmed.

“The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort is where we fell in love, it was the perfect choice for this wonderful occasion,” Bluher told Us Weekly. Taylor was beautiful and never stopped smiling! it was an amazing evening, a ten all round!”

As RHOBH watchers know, this will be Taylor’s second time walking down the aisle. Taylor’s estranged husband, Russell Armstrong, committed suicide back in August 2011. Russell left behind his and Taylor’s daughter, Kennedy, now 6.

Reports suggest that the New Jersey housewives have already begun filming season six of The Real Housewives of New Jersey in an effort to catch Teresa Giudice’s legal troubles. However, RadarOnline has revealed that none of the current cast members have been presented with contracts for next season.

“They’re all starting to freak out,” a source close to production revealed.

“The women won’t get their contracts until after the reunion show for this season is filmed and that is happening the first week in September. They have to do everything that is required of them for THIS season and then Bravo will lock them down for the next season. But the stalemate is making everyone really nervous.”

After seeing how the New York City housewives were not granted any of their demands while negotiating contracts for season six of The Real Housewives of New York City, Caroline Manzo, Melissa Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita, Teresa Giudice, and Kathy Wakile are afraid to ask for more money.

“With Teresa’s crazy indictment and October trial coming up the ladies know that Bravo wants them all back, but they don’t know if they’re going to be able to get any more money,” the source said. “They would basically be filming two seasons back-to-back without a break and that is a lot more pressure for all of them.”

However, the cast believes that Giudice’s legal trouble will work in their favor.

“All the ladies know that Teresa’s court drama could be amazing for ratings and they all want to be a part of that and they’re hoping Bravo will quickly get them all new deals so they can start filming again right away. They know that Teresa is the star and they’ll have to have her back so they’re hoping that they all will be back too.”

In a recent video interview with TBBReality, Caroline Manzo discussed the possibility of a sixth season and revealed that reunion shows are not taped until most of the current season’s episodes have aired. My guess is that the reunion show will be taped by the end of September.

Find out what Caroline said here in this exclusive video:

Aiiiiii Mami!

The Real Housewives of Miami star Adriana De Moura stripped down for pictures for her new campaign with PETA.

The Brazilian reality star posed completely nude in a bathtub for the animal rights ads. Adriana’s ads aim to bring awareness to the controversial practice of keeping marine mammals in captivity for entertainment purposes.

Adriana isn’t the only Miami housewife to bare all for a good cause. Fellow RHOM cast member Joanna Krupa was featured in PETA ads as well.

Kim Zolciak may need a new house!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy star Kim Zolciak announced back in June that she and her husband, Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann were expecting, again.

Now, the reality star has announced that she and Kroy are expecting TWINS!

“I was completely shocked,” Kim told E! News. “I had no idea. It was a natural conception, but twins do run in the family, so I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised.”

The couple have two children together, Kroy Jr., 2, and Kash Kade, 9 months. In addition, Kroy officially adopted Zolciak’s daughters Brielle and Ariana from previous relationships.

I can’t believe I am going to be a mom to six children,” Kim said. “It’s going to be very busy but it’s a dream come true.”

Season four of Vh1’s Mob Wives is going to be explosive!

Alicia DiMichele Garafola is the newest cast member of the Staten Island based reality show and we can already feel the tension brewing!

Drama between Karen Gravano and Alicia is sure to be captured this season as the two have deep family history.

Karen is the daughter of ex-Gambino underboss Salavatore “Sammy The Bull” Gravano. Alicia’s late father-in-law, Edward Garafalo, was murdered by members of Gravano’s crew on orders of then-Gambino boss John Gotti. Yikes!

“Alicia has been filming and there’s a ton of drama since she is cast mates with a family enemy,” a source told . “It’s crazy but she’s loving it.”

Adding to the drama, Joseph “Joe Boy” Sclafani, the fiancé of the Mob Wives star Ramona Rizzo, was sentenced to 15 years in prison last week. Joseph, an alleged member of the Gambino crime family, pleaded guilty to distributing cocaine.

It doesn’t look like Ramona will be walking down the aisle any time soon.

Sheree Whitfield may loose her dream home before she can even move in!

According to, an Atlanta area real estate agent claims the home is in foreclosure and is available for immediate short sale.

The home, referred to as Chateau Sheree, is reportedly on the market for $340,000, but sealed bids are now being accepted for the property and buyers may be able to purchase the un-finished home in the low $300,000s.

Despite the home’s great location, a source classifies the home as a possible “tear down” because of exposure to various elements during construction. Reports reveal it has been ”sitting in the rain wearing nothing but an expired Tyvek wrap” for months!

Sheree spoke about the home, and what it represents to her on Iyanla: Fix My Life earlier this year.

Watch Sheree discuss Chateau Sheree with Iyanla Vanzant below.

Reality Roundup

Stars of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Teresa and Joe Giudice were indicted earlier this month on 39-counts of federal fraud and tax charges that, according to legal experts, may cause them both to serve time in federal prison.

However, Teresa is attempting to walk away from the charges without spending anytime in the slammer.

After prosecutors rejected the couple’s proposed plea deal,  the Giudices pleaded not guilty to the 39-counts against them at their arraignment in Newark, New Jersey

Teresa wanted a plea deal that keeps her out of jail so she offered to do anything else BUT jail time and have Joe serve all of the time in jail. The prosecutor dismissed the deal outright,” a source told RadarOnline

The couple is accused of submitting fraudulent mortgage and loan applications and fabricating tax returns and W-2 forms. Prosecutors also allege that Joe failed to file federal tax returns from 2004 to 2008.

Teresa and Joe are both free on a $500,000 bond each, but they are not allowed to travel outside of New York and New Jersey.

If convicted, Teresa and Joe could each face decades behind bars. Joe even faces being deported to Italy if he is found guilty of just one of the 39 counts in the indictment, prosecutors said — as it emerged that he is not a US citizen.

Despite the impending possibility of prison, Teresa is planning on expanding her empire by opening a restaurant!

Hours after her appearance in federal court, Teresa arrived at Kim D’s Posche Boutique to sign books and snap photos with fans. At the event, Teresa revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she and Joe are planning to open a new restaurant, stating that she is not going to stop working anytime soon.

“I’m not going to stop working,” she said. “ It’s a good example to show to my daughters — that Mommy’s a business woman and hopefully they’ll follow in my footsteps.”

Teresa and Joe’s trial is scheduled to begin on October 8th.

On the same day Teresa plead not guilty to her federal fraud charges, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump was accused of fraud in a lawsuit filed against her and her husband.

Lisa and her husband Ken Todd are named as defendants in a lawsuit filed by Ryan Carrillo and Andrew Gruver, who claim that they planned to open a sports-themed gay bar just a stone’s throw away from Vanderpump’s restaurant SUR, but the location was snatched by Lisa and Ken via underhanded paperwork.

Lisa, 52, and Todd, 55, denied any wrongdoing to The Wrap on Wednesday, stating they were unaware of the claim.

“We had no prior knowledge of Ryan Carrillo and Andrew Gruver or their claim,” the couple said. “We took the lease in good faith seven months ago and all of our applications and notices have been posted publicly. Any issue will be between them and the property owner.”

Lisa and Ken are currently constructing their new restaurant, P.U.M.P. Lounge at the location in question.

Ryan and Andrew allege fraud and breach of contract in their lawsuit, and are asking for an injunction blocking further construction of P.U.M.P Lounge.

MobWives breakout star Big Ang has scored her second spin-off on the Vh1 television network!

After the success of her first reality television spin-off, Big Ang, the lip-injected Queen of Staten Island will star in a new spinoff series. The new series entitled Miami Monkey will document Ang as she travels to Miami to open a second location of her bar.

Miami Monkey premieres on Sunday, September 8 at 10PM ET/PT.

The Real Housewives of Miami stars Joanna Krupa and husband Romain Zago may have forgotten to do something important….like pay their rent!

According to GossipExtrra, Joanna and Romain were reportedly a month late on their $15,000 monthly rent payment for their new Miami Beach waterfront house.

The couple’s landlord Tara Reality LLC filed a lawsuit against the pair on July 30th; however, the check materialized in the mail just a few days later.

The matter was resolved quickly,” says Tara Realty attorney Craig Shapiro.

Joanna and Romain are currently celebrating their life as newlyweds. Their lavish wedding will be part of Joanna’s storyline this season on The Real Housewives of Miami.

RHOBH ‘s Brandi Glanville is having the time of her life with her new boyfriend Drew Carter.

Although the couple has only been on four dates, Brandi has already introduced the former NFL player to her Real Housewives co-stars.

Brandi and Drew attended the RHOBH season finale party together on August 9th at the Beverly Hilton, which was filmed for season four of the show.

After shooting wrapped, Brandi, Drew and a couple of close friends hit the hotel’s 1912 bar for drinks and snacks,” a source told E! News. “Later on, they met up with Kim Richards at the Polo Lounge

“He’s a good guy and he treats her very well. They’re into each other,” an insider said.

Is Kim Zolciak returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta?

The former Atlanta housewife and current Don’t Be Tardy star made an intriguing announcement on Twitter this week.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is currently filming for season six of the series; however, Kim Zolciak quit the show while Season 5 was still in production.

“If RHOA gets picked up for Season 6, I would consider returning. My priorities were different [this season], but we’ll see what happens,” Kim told a few months ago.

Bravo has since ordered a sixth season of RHOA and the Atlanta ladies have already begun filming. NeNe Leakes, Cynthia Bailey, Phaedra Parks, Porsha Stewart, Kenya Moore and Kandi Burruss are all reportedly returning for season six. In addition, rumor has it that Bravo is in talks to rotate in at least one “part-time” ‘Friend of the Housewives’.

Peter Rosello, the son of The Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Echevarria, has been arrested for the second time in a year.

Peter, 20, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia by the North Miami Police Department, Gossip Extra reported.

According to the police report, Peter was a passenger in a vehicle that hit a parked unmarked police car. When the cops pulled over the vehicle, they searched the car and found a backpack full of weed and a pipe.  Peter admitted to the police that the bag was his.

This was not the first time Peter has had a run in with the law. Peter was arrested last year after brutally attacking a sleeping homeless man and then posting video of the assault on YouTube.

After pleading guilty, he escaped serving jail time by agreeing to go into a diversion program for a year and performing 100 hours of community service.

A plea deal kept him out of prison yet again, and he will be participating in another diversion program.

Reality Roundup: Teresa and Joe Giudice, Not So Fabulicious

It is no secret that the stars of Bravo‘s Real Housewives franchise have their fair share of financial woes. This time around, The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa and Joe Giudice have caught themselves in financial peril, again.

Teresa and Joe were indicted last week on 39-counts of federal fraud and tax charges that, according to legal experts, may cause them both to serve time in federal prison.

The 39-count indictment details charges of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications and bankruptcy fraud, against the couple from Towaco, N.J.

The indictment also accuses Joe Giudice of failing to file tax returns for 2004 through 2008.

The 33-page indictment document states that Joe and Teresa falsely represented on loan applications to lenders that they were employed and/or receiving substantial salaries when in fact, they were not employed or not receiving such salaries.

For example, one lender, CBBC, issued the Giudices a loan for 1.72 million dollars after the couple allegedly submitted fraudulent tax and W-2 forms and falsely stated that they had a private bank account with $500,000.

In addition, the couple allegedly concealed assets from the government during their October 2009 petition for bankruptcy protection. The couple allegedly concealed businesses they owned and income they received from a rental property. In addition, Teresa and Joe allegedly failed to disclose Teresa’s true earnings from The Real Housewives of New Jersey and her earnings from paid appearances and magazine deals.

“The indictment returned to today alleges the Giudices lied to the bankruptcy court, to the IRS and to a number of banks,” U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman said in a statement. “Everyone has an obligation to tell the truth when dealing with the courts, paying their taxes and applying for loans or mortgages. That’s reality.”

Soon after the news broke, Teresa released a statement through her lawyer pledging her loyalty to her husband, Joe, and her commitment to her family.

“Today is a most difficult day for our family,” she said. “I support Joe and, as a wonderful husband and father, I know he wants only the best for our lovely daughters and me. I am committed to my family and intend to maintain our lives in the best way possible, which includes continuing my career. As a result, I am hopeful that we will resolve this matter with the Government as quickly as possible.”

During the couple’s first hearing this past Tuesday, the two were each released on $500,000 bond, co-signed by Joe Giudices’s parents. The duo has yet to enter a plea; however, according to Teresa’s attorney, Henry Klingeman, she will plead not guilty.

“Teresa will plead ‘not guilty,’” he said. “The judicial process that begins today with an indictment is a search for the truth. As it moves forward, we look forward to vindicating her.”

According to RadarOnline, the United States’ Attorney’s Office may be considering calling some of Teresa and Joe’s RHONJ co-stars to testify AGAINST the couple in court. Producers and executives for Bravo could also be subpoenaed.

“The U.S. Attorney will be extensively going over all potential witnesses which would include her (Teresa’s) co-stars on the show,” a source close to the prosecution case told Radar.

“The women could be called to testify at the trial because they could have firsthand knowledge of Teresa’s financial dealings, before and after the show premiered. Prosecutors could also subpoena footage from the New Jersey housewife franchise, along with producers who might also have information.”

If convicted, Teresa and Joe could each face decades behind bars. Joe even faces being deported to Italy if he is found guilty of just one of the 39 counts in the indictment, prosecutors said — as it emerged yesterday that he is not a US citizen.

Added to that, Juicy Joe is currently awaiting trial for allegedly impersonating his brother to illegally obtain a driver’s license after his own was suspended for a DWI. He can face up to 10 years in prison for those charges.

Despite the animosity, Teresa has every intention on continuing her role on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

“Teresa has no plans to stop filming,” a show insider exclusively told In Touch. And with season six on the horizon, Teresa plans on filming the season five reunion episode in September. “She would never miss it,” the insider shared.

However, due to the ongoing legal issue, the indictments will not be discussed.

It will have to stick to show drama,” the source says. “She’s putting on a face because she doesn’t want anyone, especially Melissa, to see her sweat.”

While Bravo has not released an official statement regarding the indictment, a source told The News that the network is no longer interested in a spin-off involving Teresa

“Bravo only spins off happy situations — marriages, baby news. Not prison.”

Bravo’s Andy Cohen addressed the charges on twitter saying “I’m not avoiding it I don’t have any information!”

Since news broke about Teresa’s indictment, the reality star has been garnering support from some unlikely sources.

Lea Black, star of The Real Housewives of Miami, reached out to Teresa on Twitter.

“Sending strength @Teresa_Giudice asking everyone to support you and your family and not pile on – love to your girls and sending blessings”

MobWives star “Big Ang”, who is no stranger to troubles with the law, announced that she believes Teresa and Joe are innocent.

“I think they’re innocent. I feel like she’s innocent and so is he,” Ang told TMZ.

“I wish them all the luck, them and their family. I’m sure they’ll be OK; you have to keep your chin up,” she advised.

One reality star who is not offering any sympathy is former Housewife and queen of cocktails Bethenny Frankel.

“I haven’t paid that much attention,” Frankel told US Weekly. “Do I feel sorry for them? No, I don’t. Not so much because it broke the law. You broke the law and you went on television. That’s not really that smart.”

Undeterred by the unfortunate circumstances, Teresa, who is not allowed to leave the New York/New Jersey area, made an appearance Wednesday night too accept a Beauty Buster Award for her Milania Hair Care line. She was also able to spend some downtime with longtime friend and former RHONJ cast member Dina Manzo in the Hamptons this past weekend.

Teresa snapped some photos of her getaway for her Twitter followers , writing alongside one picture, “Hamptons visit with my girls @dinamanzo and@pamcolacino #greatfriends”

Teresa and Joe were also able to spend some time with their family this weekend, posting pictures via Instagram on Saturday. The mother of four shared photos of their daughters, Gia, 13, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 7, and Audriana, 3, enjoying time with their parents and cousins at a family member’s backyard birthday party.

The couple’s next court hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 14, the same day Teresa is scheduled to have another Fabulicious on the Grill book signing in Wayne, N.J. The book signing has yet to be postponed.
