Order in the court! The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa and Joe Giudice have officially begun their pre-sentencing proceedings and are gearing up for their July sentencing date!

“Joe and Teresa will be meeting with officials from the probation department and a report will be prepared for the judge to review at the July 8 sentencing hearing. The probation report will give the judge guidance as to what prison time if any Joe or Teresa will be sentenced to,” a source told Radar Online.“The couple will meet with officials separately. Joe is prepared to tell the probation department that he was the sole perpetrator in the crimes, and that Teresa had no knowledge.”

In doing this, Joe is hoping that the judge will not send Teresa to prison, and instead either give her probation, or house arrest,” the source added. “A meeting with a psychiatrist is also on the books to determine their mental health status, and how they would do if placed in prison. This is always done in these cases, and the Giudices aren’t receiving any special treatment.”

Teresa could face up to 27 months behind bars while Joe could be locked up for over 46 months. The couple pleaded guilty to multiple counts of fraud earlier this year.

Teresa and Joe’s legal drama will be a major story this season on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Reportedly, Teresa’s bosses at Bravo are extremely upset with her after she did not show to the Bravo Up-fronts last week.

“The network obviously wanted her there and wanted her to talk about her legal problems because they are in the show, but she just isn’t willing to do any press right now.” Radar‘s source revealed.

“Teresa is terrified of making a wrong move between now and her sentencing. She’s praying that she gets only house arrest or even probation. So she’s staying out of the limelight and avoiding any situation where she will have to talk about the case.”

Despite the harsh realities, Teresa is living in denial regarding the fact that Joe could possibly be deported back to Italy following the sentencing. “She is hopeful that their lawyers will be able to avoid this altogether, but it isn’t looking like it will happen,” Radar’s source added. “Joe is going to deal with whatever his punishment is, and if that includes being deported, he will face it. Of course, Joe would fight any attempt to be deported, but he knows his chances of being successful are slim.”

Teresa and Joe Giudice will appear in court on July 8th, 2014. Season six of The Real Housewives of New Jersey will premiere the following week on Sunday, July 13th, 2014 at 8 p.m. EST. Catch a sneak peek of the upcoming season here!

Put on those red socks… Top Chef season 12 is headed to Boston! Following the successful 11th season in New Orleans, Bravo’s Top Chef will stage in Boston for season 12!

“Boston has always been at the top of our wish list as a location for ‘Top Chef,’ not only because of its rich historical significance, but also because of its robust and ever-growing culinary scene,” Shari Levine, Senior Vice President of Current Production at Bravo, said in a network press release. “Top Chef will showcase the many facets of the city which in turn will bring its fresh, unique flavor to season 12.”

Host Padma Lakshmi, head judge Tom Colicchio and judge Gail Simmons will all be returning for the upcoming season. Top Chef: Boston will air this fall.

Riding off the success of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spin-off Vanderpump Rules, Bravo’s network executives are hoping to strike gold in Orange County.

“Bravo is seeking to anchor Monday nights better for RHOC next year with a comparable program, if not a spin-off, that carries a So Cal vibe,” LALATE reported last week.

Although a spin-off focused on Tamra Barney’s CUT Fitness has been denied time and time again, it seems like a great fit!

Start stirring your gravy and fryin’ your meatballs… The Real Housewives of New Jersey are back! Bravo has announced that the sixth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey will premiere on Sunday, July 13th.

Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga are the only Housewives returning this season. In addition, RHONJ alum, Dina Manzo will be re-joining the cast.

“Well I guess the (hairless) cats out of the bag,” Dina tweeted when filming started. “Yes I’m back. Unlike the past this time it felt ‘right’ … See you on Bravo my friends.”

Dina’s sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita, who has starred on the show since it’s inception, will not be part of the season six cast. Caroline Manzo has also departed from the series. Caroline’s upcoming spinoff pilot, Manzo’d With Children, was recently picked up for season one and, according to her Twitter will air in fall 2014. We caught up with Caroline at a recent event! Find out what she had to say about Manzo’d with Children and her departure form The Real Housewives of New Jersey here!

Although Kathy Wakile is no longer part of the cast, she and her sister Rosie will be making an appearance or two in the upcoming season, Melissa Gorga revealed during an appearance at the Tampa Home and Garden Show last week. When we recently saw the sisters, they too confirmed their involvment on the show.

Three new Housewives will be joining the cast this season! Amber Marchese and identical twins Teresa Aprea and Nicole Mauriello are sure to fuel some great drama this season. Amber, a breast cancer survivor, is a New Jersey native with a no-nonsense attitude. Teresa Aprea, and her husband, Rino, are the owners of famous restaurants, Angelo’s of Mulberry Street in Little Italy, and Ponte Vecchio in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. She and her husband have an 18-year-old son, Giovanni. Nicole Mauriello is a two-time divorcee (Hey, at least that’s better than 19 engagements…), a fashionista and a mother to two teenage boys, Joey, 14, and Anthony, 16.

Teresa and Joe Giudice’s legal drama will be a major story this season. After pleading guilty to multiple fraud and tax evasion charges, Teresa and Joe are currently awaiting their sentencing hearing, which is scheduled for July 8th.

“Obviously, Teresa is going to be a key character in the upcoming season, and Bravo wants to maximize her storyline,” an insider revealed to Radar Online last month.

Viewers can also expect some catfights, yelling, and stripping & cheating allegations. Oh yes, more stripping & cheating allegations!

Pink slip or just no trip? Fans of The Real Housewives of New York City have been questioning the absence of Aviva Drescher from the show after her dialogue was erased from the opening credits.

TheHollywoodGossip reported the mother of four was being “disciplined by producers with a forced three-episode hiatus,” while other reports suggest Aviva’s disappearance is simply a publicity stunt to drum up interest in the ratings starved show.

Aviva broke her silence regarding the matter, telling Radar “I wasn’t (disciplined) … back on in two weeks,” adding that she did not want to go on the Berkshire trip due to health concerns involving her prosthetic leg and asthma.

However, Radar has learned that these recent episodes are not the only ones Aviva will be cut from this season.

“Aviva has had a really bad time this season,” a source revealed. “Because she refused to go on two separate trips with the rest of the women the producers are fuming at her and they’re taking her out of the show as punishment.”

“Aviva also refused to go to Montana with the women, so she won’t be in those upcoming episodes either and they’re planning to do the same thing with the opening credits – take her out of them,” the insider continued. “No one would want her to risk her health or anything if that’s the reason she claimed was why she didn’t go, but the producers are fed up with her now.”

Aviva’s frequent absences may lead to a major cast change. “Aviva might get axed from the show at the end of the season,” the source said. “Her storyline about Bookgate was dumb and then not being part of the rest of the show is making her more difficult so the producers are seriously considering firing her at the end of the season.”

We reached out to Aviva when the first Aviva Free episode aired two weeks ago, but she was unresponsive.

Reality Roundup: Series Ratings and Casting Rumors

Kelly Bensimon (Source: Peter Kramer/AP)

Bravo‘s Concrete Jungle installment of The Real Housewives franchise may be demolished after this season. Despite the success of other Real Housewives series in the franchise, the current season of The Real Housewives of New York City has the lowest viewership in the show’s history.

Although the cast members are entangled in an array of drama, including bankruptcies and cheating scandals, viewers have been tuning out in increasing numbers. Since the season premiere, the show has continued to decrease in viewership—hitting a series low of 1.2 million viewers for the fifth episode.

“Bravo executives are watching the numbers closely and they are definitely considering getting rid of the New York franchise,” a source close to the production told RadarOnline.

Despite the increase in viewership the past two weeks, the core audience of 18-49 year olds that advertisers look for has decreased drastically.

“The ladies just aren’t connecting with viewers and they need something major to happen to them,” the source continued.

Viewers of The Real Housewives of New York City may be intrigued when they see a familiar face later this season when former RHONY star Kelly Bensimon guest stars on the show.

In a recent interview with WetPaint, Kelly revealed that Countess LuAnn de Lesseps asked her to come on the show to walk in a fashion show. “LuAnn asked me to come on with her. She was like, ‘Will you walk in this fashion show for me and surprise all the ladies?’ And I obviously told her that I would. It was really fun. I got to meet Carole Radziwill, who’s incredibly smart, funny, and charming. She said she wanted to meet some guys to snuggle with, so I set her up on some dates,” Kelly said in the interview.

When asked if she would ever return to the show, Kelly expressed that she is open to the opportunity; however,  she would only return if she could showcase her life in an more natural, unscripted manner. “I loved being on the show and meeting these women and observing their lives. The only way that I would actually ever consider coming back is if I could actually show my real life and be able to celebrate who I am, versus being in a scene with women I don’t know.

Kelly and her former casemates Jill Zarin, Alex McCord and Cindy Barshop, were booted from the franchise after the fourth season of the show. She is currently keeping busy promoting her new fragrance line.

Speaking of returning housewives, if the rumors surrounding The Real Housewives of Atlanta casting are true, than an original housewife may be making a comeback.

After a record-breaking season, The Real Housewives of Atlanta may be undergoing a huge cast shakeup. Rumor has it that Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Stewart will not be returning for season seven of the show. Instead, former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield may be returning, Sister 2 Sister reported on Thursday May 1st.

Sheree was included in the exclusive guest list to Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker‘s wedding last month and has made recent appearances on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.

If the rumors are true, Sheree would be the second housewife in history to return to the franchise. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo was the first housewife to ever return after a hiatus. Dina will be starring in the upcoming season of RHONJ.

Bravo is taking a leap into scripted television programming. The network is currently developing a new series entitled All the Pretty Faces. In collaborating with Warner Horizon Television, the show is being executively produced by actress Jennifer Garner.

“By teaming up with the incredibly talented Jennifer Garner, we can bring fans a compelling family drama with a fun, mystical twist,” Andrew Wang, Bravo’s Vice President of Scripted Development & Production said in a statement.

The network is also working on two additional scripted shows to add to their lineup—Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce and Odd Mom Left Out.

While it seems that every Real Housewives star is selling something these days, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga is branching out into the jewelry business. The Love Italian Style author recently secured a deal with HSN for her own line of affordable jewelry due out this summer.

In a statement for Us Magazine, Melissa revealed her desire to offer “something fresh that was luxurious and bold, but accessible for stylish women at any age,” prompted her to create this line.

“I’ve always admired one-of-a-kind statement pieces so I wanted to create a collection of my own,” Gorga tells told the mag. “When designing the collection, I was looking to create those ‘wow’ pieces that people would stop you and say, ‘Where did you get that?'”

The jewelry line will feature pieces that range in price from $20 to $100.

While on the subject of RHONJ we have exclusive info that things may not be fine and dandy on the new season between Teresa Giudice and her family. A castmember, whose name we cannot reveal, told us that the mother of four has “brought evil to the show” and “has ruined all the Housewives shows”  when she notoriously flipped a table during the first season.

Tell us— Do you think the Teresa table flip changed the course of Housewives? Leave a comment below and voice your opinion! Your email will never be sold or shared.
