For years Bravo’s The Real Housewives series has made us laugh, cry, and even a little angry at times. For the past few years I have had the pleasure of watching, writing about, meeting, and socializing with many of the Real Housewives.

Five years ago, I was convinced by a friend and her mother to put my unapologetically truthful verbal commentary about the series into writing. Since then, life has taken me down an unimaginable path. There are no words sufficient enough to describe the wonderful experiences I have had as “That Housewife Guy”. From running my own website, to writing for major media outlets, to finally joining forces with TBBReality. However, after 5 years as “That Housewife Guy”, I have decided to retire. While I’ve cherished each and every minute of my time, I must move forward. Life is about constant change and growth. Being thankful for your past, hopeful for your future, and always embracing the present moment you’re in.

Being a part of #TeamTBB has been an amazing opportunity that I am blessed to have been given. Tara—thank you for all of your support and direction in my more recent years. I’ve had a blast working with you. Lesley—thank you for being such a great teammate. It has been a pleasure getting to know you and finally meeting you! And to you, our readers— thank you for your active participation and kind words. We do this for you!

Here are some of my top 5 Real Housewives Meltdowns from over the years:

 5. Wine Toss

After an entire season of brash between Tamra Barney and Jeana Keough on The Real Housewives of Orange County, the two dueled it out in a game of wine toss. After serving Jeana with a Cease and Desist Order, Tamra tossed a glass of wine in Jeana’s face. In retaliation, Jeana attempted to throw a glass of wine back at Tamra; however, she missed and wet an innocent partygoer. It was the classiest thrown down in Real Housewives history.

4. Stretched Thin

More heartbreaking than ridiculous, the stretch-limo fight between The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Kim and Kyle Richards brought true reality into the the series. After Kim accused her sister Kyle of stealing her house, Kyle revealed to the world that her sister is an alcoholic.

3. Square Tits

Like most friendships on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the odd relationship between Danielle Staub and Kim G. ended in a brawl. After discovering that Kim G. had been sharing information with Danielle’s enemies (Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice), Danielle confronted Kim G. over a lunch outing. The conversation quickly went south and ended with napkin throwing and square tit accusations.

2. Unbeweaveable

 After trying to break up an argument between her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars NeNe Leakes got caught in the middle as Sheree Whitfield tried to tear off Kim Zolciak’s wig.

It’s the be all end all of Real Housewives meltdowns. After The infamous table flip gets high marks for being an iconic moment of the Real Housewives franchise and the explosive scene that launched the first season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

After a season of poor ratings, Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City is in desperate need of help! Although RHONY has not been given the green light for a seventh season, rumor has it that RHONY producers are in talks with the cast about another round.

“LuAnn (DeLesseps) is back for sure,” a source revealed to Confidenti@l . “They are now negotiating her fee. Last season The Countess was paid a day rate every time she filmed as a ‘friend’ on the show. Plus, she got a bonus if her scene made it into the series.”

“Carole (Radziwill) is also safe,” the source added. “She is a dear friend of Andy’s and has formed a genuine friendship with Heather Thomson. This is what the show is looking for,” adds another insider. “They want genuine relationships and drama, and want to stay away from anything the ladies ‘stage’ to make good TV — such as throwing an artificial leg. 

While the other ladies may be back for another ride, the Real Housewives train may not be departing for Aviva Drescher.

“It is the end of the road for Aviva,” Confidenti@l reports. “She has not been told anything officially, but has been told if she wants to start looking for other TV opportunities, it is fine with Bravo.”

As for Ramona Singer, the only way she will be back is if she opens up about her marital problems, a friend of the New York City housewife revealed. “At the reunion, Ramona shut down any questions of her doomed marriage. She will not be able to do that if she returns.”

Ramona, 57, initially filed for divorce in January 2014 after catching her husband of 22 years, Mario, and his supposed girlfriend, together in their Hamptons home.

“I tried to make my marriage work because I have strong values and I believe that people make mistakes,” Ramona told People Magazine earlier this month. “But you reach a point where you realize the other person isn’t putting in as much effort as you are. And I reached my breaking point.”

 She’s baaaack! After being noticeably absent from the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Caroline Manzo and her family are back on Bravo in their own spinoff series, Manzo’d with Children.

The show will feature Caroline’s children, Lauren, Albie, and Chris, and husband, Al, with special appearances by her sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline’s other siblings.

“We had an absolute blast filming,” Caroline told Bravo’s The Dish. “It’s fun. It’s lighthearted. You really get the picture of who we are as a family, so we’ll see what happens.”

If you haven’t heard of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge by now, you are probably living under a rock. As of Aug. 29, in addition to raising awareness, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has raised over $100 million in support Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (AKA Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

In an effort to raise money and awareness, Bravolebrities from across the nation have been participating in the challenge.

Kathy Griffin participated in the challenge by going commando for the shoot. “I thought I should take it up a notch,” she told the late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel after being nominated by Suze Orman, Aubrey Plaza, Margaret Cho and Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean. More like she took it “up a crotch”!

Things aren’t always sweet down in the peach state! The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida was sentenced to eight years in prison this past Tuesday for fraud charges.

Apollo, the husband of Atlanta Housewife Phaedra Parks, was found guilty for committing mail, wire, and bank fraud.

According to federal court documents, Apollo deposited millions of dollars worth of “fraudulently obtained checks” into almost 40 bank accounts that had been opened using “stolen identities.”

In addition, Apollo stole United States Treasury checks, “retirement checks issued to Delta Airlines employees, and checks in the names of real people that were owed unclaimed property from various state and federal government agencies,” court documents stated.

“Today’s sentencing exemplifies impartial justice regardless of economic class or perceived celebrity status. Nida’s sentence should be an eye opener for other like-minded criminals who scheme to steal victims’ identities, defraud them and ignore the consequences of their actions,” said Reginald G. Moore, of the United States Secret Service, Atlanta Field Office.

Despite the bitter downfall, Phaedra Parks is keeping her head above the water. “Phaedra’s doing great,” Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss told Hollywood Life of her friend.

“She’s basically working,” added the newlywed singer. “That’s how I deal with things too; when I have a lot going on, I just put more into work. I know that she’s promoting her book and doing the book tour and stuff like that and she’s not really trying to focus as much on what’s happening.”

Apollo, 35, will serve five years under parole supervision after he completes his eight years in a federal prison, U.S. District Court Judge Charles A. Pannell, Jr. ruled during sentencing last Tuesday. A hearing on July 17 will determine how much restitution Apollo will have to pay to his victims.

This will not be the first time Apollo will be spending time in a jail cell. The father of two was released in 2009 after serving time for racketeering charges.

Polish those dancin’ shoes! Season 19 of Dancing with the Stars is just around the corner! Rumors surrounding the Season 19 cast have already begun running rampant!

One of the rumored cast members set to star on the upcoming season of ABC‘s Dancing with the Stars is newlywed Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss. Other cast speculations for Season 19 include The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards and The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Barney.

The beloved ballroom television show was given a lot of love this week! Dancing With the Stars was nominated for an Emmy Award yet again for Best Reality-Competition Show.

Season 19 of Dancing with the Stars is set to debut this fall.

Speaking of the Emmy‘s, one Bravo show that may have a statue is Million Dollar Listing New York. Ryan Serhant took to social media last week to announce the nomination and thank his co-stars and fans. The series just finished its third season and is at the top of the Million Dollar Listing game. There are currently three MDL franchises, the newest being Million Dollar Listing Miami. Is Bravo now going to grow this Housewives style?

LuAnn DeLesseps is reportedly not getting paid, but don’t believe everything reported. After Radar Online ran an article that stated Countess was either getting fired or she had to work for free, Hollywood Life sought out the truth. A rep for the Real Housewives of New York star told HL, “Every year they talk about the same potential of firings.  LuAnn had a great season and she is looking forward to returning, but she is very busy with her new business ventures including her Countess LuAnn Dress Collection and she is set to follow up with jewelry and home. So whatever the future hold will be positive.” The rep went on to clarify that the only work miss DL does for free is her “charity work.”

When we spoke to LuAnn at the RHONY premiere she stated she was happy with her currently part-time Housewives gig. Though to us, it seems like she’s still as much a show staple as ever. What do you all think?

Shahs of Sunset has one less cast member. Lilly Ghalichi, the “Persian Barbie” has been fired. This suits co-star Mercedes (MJ) Javid just fine. MJ told TMZ that her co-star was too fake for reality television. “I think it was inevitable”, Javid says in a TMZ video when asked her thoughts on the firing. “You’ve got to be real to be on reality TV, I think she was very interesting, but she wasn’t herself and that was her problem.”

Not far from Sunset, a new baby has been born! The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson is a grandma, again!  Vicki’s daughter, Briana Wolfsmith-Culberson, welcomed her second child this past Wednesday morning. The new bundle of joy weighed in at 6 lbs., 8 oz.

“Being a mother is one of life’s greatest joys. I never knew there was a love out there greater than the love I have for my own children,” Vicki said in a statement. “Being a grandmother, now twice, teaches me that love is never ending and life is full of divine surprises … This is a real Woo Hoo moment.”

Briana and her husband Ryan Culberson are also parents to son Troy, 22 months.

 “Real glamour, real drama, fake boobs.” That’s the tagline for Hulu‘s newest original comedy series The Hotwives of Orlando, a spoof on Bravo’s The Real Housewives.

“A parody of one of the most popular franchises in reality television, ‘The Hotwives of Orlando,’ takes you inside the uber-exclusive and glamorous…more world of six hot housewives livin’ large in Central Florida’s sexiest city, Orlando,” Hulu executives described. “The show follows a cast of ladies as they fight over pretty much everything except for their love of shoes, plastic surgery, and the pursuit of spending all of their husbands’ money.”

While the seven episode series will debut this Tuesday, catch a hilarious preview below!

Lastly, tonight is the big night. Hold onto your tables, Real Housewives of New Jersey is back along with born again Housewife Dina Manzo. Dina, who left after season 2, told E!Online that she’s hoping to bring back some of the lighthearted fun that the fans have been requesting. “I think the the fans-viewers and the network- were ready for a change. I kind of believe them when they say we need to go back to that feeling of season one, kind of fun and a little bit of drama, but nothing that hurts a family and got too dark,” she says in a new interview.

As for family she will not be speaking about hers. “I didn’t like being talked about when I was on and I’m sure they (Caroline Manzo, Chris and Jacqueline Laurita) wouldn’t like it either. So that’s the kind of one thing I said I wasn’t going to talk about.”

Tonight TBB will be on deck at the RHONJ premiere party, Fabellini in hand (ticket comes with one…side-eye) to get the scoop and meet Dina for the first time. Rumor has it that Untying The Knot‘s Vikki Ziegler, who went to high school with the Laurita clan, will also be present.
