For years Bravo’s The Real Housewives series has made us laugh, cry, and even a little angry at times. For the past few years I have had the pleasure of watching, writing about, meeting, and socializing with many of the Real Housewives.

Five years ago, I was convinced by a friend and her mother to put my unapologetically truthful verbal commentary about the series into writing. Since then, life has taken me down an unimaginable path. There are no words sufficient enough to describe the wonderful experiences I have had as “That Housewife Guy”. From running my own website, to writing for major media outlets, to finally joining forces with TBBReality. However, after 5 years as “That Housewife Guy”, I have decided to retire. While I’ve cherished each and every minute of my time, I must move forward. Life is about constant change and growth. Being thankful for your past, hopeful for your future, and always embracing the present moment you’re in.

Being a part of #TeamTBB has been an amazing opportunity that I am blessed to have been given. Tara—thank you for all of your support and direction in my more recent years. I’ve had a blast working with you. Lesley—thank you for being such a great teammate. It has been a pleasure getting to know you and finally meeting you! Here are some of my top 5 Real Housewives Meltdowns from over the years:

 5. Wine Toss

After an entire season of brash between Tamra Barney and Jeana Keough on The Real Housewives of Orange County, the two dueled it out in a game of wine toss. After serving Jeana with a Cease and Desist Order, Tamra tossed a glass of wine in Jeana’s face. In retaliation, Jeana attempted to throw a glass of wine back at Tamra; however, she missed and wet an innocent partygoer. It was the classiest thrown down in Real Housewives history.

4. Stretched Thin

More heartbreaking than ridiculous, the stretch-limo fight between The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Kim and Kyle Richards brought true reality into the the series. After Kim accused her sister Kyle of stealing her house, Kyle revealed to the world that her sister is an alcoholic.

3. Square Tits

Like most friendships on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the odd relationship between Danielle Staub and Kim G. ended in a brawl. After discovering that Kim G. had been sharing information with Danielle’s enemies (Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice), Danielle confronted Kim G. over a lunch outing. The conversation quickly went south and ended with napkin throwing and square tit accusations.

2. Unbeweaveable

 After trying to break up an argument between her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars NeNe Leakes got caught in the middle as Sheree Whitfield tried to tear off Kim Zolciak’s wig.

It’s the be all end all of Real Housewives meltdowns. After The infamous table flip gets high marks for being an iconic moment of the Real Housewives franchise and the explosive scene that launched the first season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Bravo‘s Concrete Jungle installment of The Real Housewives franchise may be demolished after this season. Despite the success of other Real Housewives series in the franchise, the current season of The Real Housewives of New York City has the lowest viewership in the show’s history.

Although the cast members are entangled in an array of drama, including bankruptcies and cheating scandals, viewers have been tuning out in increasing numbers. Since the season premiere, the show has continued to decrease in viewership—hitting a series low of 1.2 million viewers for the fifth episode.

“Bravo executives are watching the numbers closely and they are definitely considering getting rid of the New York franchise,” a source close to the production told RadarOnline.

Despite the increase in viewership the past two weeks, the core audience of 18-49 year olds that advertisers look for has decreased drastically.

“The ladies just aren’t connecting with viewers and they need something major to happen to them,” the source continued.

Viewers of The Real Housewives of New York City may be intrigued when they see a familiar face later this season when former RHONY star Kelly Bensimon guest stars on the show.

In a recent interview with WetPaint, Kelly revealed that Countess LuAnn de Lesseps asked her to come on the show to walk in a fashion show. “LuAnn asked me to come on with her. She was like, ‘Will you walk in this fashion show for me and surprise all the ladies?’ And I obviously told her that I would. It was really fun. I got to meet Carole Radziwill, who’s incredibly smart, funny, and charming. She said she wanted to meet some guys to snuggle with, so I set her up on some dates,” Kelly said in the interview.

When asked if she would ever return to the show, Kelly expressed that she is open to the opportunity; however,  she would only return if she could showcase her life in an more natural, unscripted manner. “I loved being on the show and meeting these women and observing their lives. The only way that I would actually ever consider coming back is if I could actually show my real life and be able to celebrate who I am, versus being in a scene with women I don’t know. 

Kelly and her former casemates Jill Zarin, Alex McCord and Cindy Barshop, were booted from the franchise after the fourth season of the show. She is currently keeping busy promoting her new fragrance line.

Speaking of returning housewives, if the rumors surrounding The Real Housewives of Atlanta casting are true, than an original housewife may be making a comeback.

After a record-breaking season, The Real Housewives of Atlanta may be undergoing a huge cast shakeup. Rumor has it that Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Stewart will not be returning for season seven of the show. Instead, former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield may be returning, Sister 2 Sister reported on Thursday May 1^st.

Sheree was included in the exclusive guest list to Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker‘s wedding last month and has made recent appearances on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.

If the rumors are true, Sheree would be the second housewife in history to return to the franchise. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo was the first housewife to ever return after a hiatus. Dina will be starring in the upcoming season of RHONJ. 

Bravo is taking a leap into scripted television programming. The network is currently developing a new series entitled All the Pretty Faces. In collaborating with Warner Horizon Television, the show is being executively produced by actress Jennifer Garner.

“By teaming up with the incredibly talented Jennifer Garner, we can bring fans a compelling family drama with a fun, mystical twist,” Andrew Wang, Bravo’s Vice President of Scripted Development & Production said in a statement.

The network is also working on two additional scripted shows to add to their lineup—Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce and Odd Mom Left Out.

While it seems that every Real Housewives star is selling something these days, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga is branching out into the jewelry business. The Love Italian Style author recently secured a deal with HSN for her own line of affordable jewelry due out this summer.

In a statement for Us Magazine, Melissa revealed her desire to offer “something fresh that was luxurious and bold, but accessible for stylish women at any age,” prompted her to create this line.

“I’ve always admired one-of-a-kind statement pieces so I wanted to create a collection of my own,” Gorga tells told the mag. “When designing the collection, I was looking to create those ‘wow’ pieces that people would stop you and say, ‘Where did you get that?'”

The jewelry line will feature pieces that range in price from $20 to $100.

While on the subject of RHONJ we have exclusive info that things may not be fine and dandy on the new season between Teresa Giudice and her family. A castmember, whose name we cannot reveal, told us that the mother of four has “brought evil to the show” and “has ruined all the Housewives shows”  when she notoriously flipped a table during the first season.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice is due back in court this Monday. The reality star will have a new court date set Monday for his New Jersey State forgery case—unless Giudice pleads guilty.

Joe is accused of using his brother’s identification to obtain a driver’s license in June 2010 after his own was suspended due to a DUI earlier that year. The father of four was arrested on the state forgery charges in March 2011.

Joe and his wife Teresa also face a raft of federal fraud and tax charges that, according to legal experts, may cause them both to serve time in federal prison.

The couple, however, put their legal troubles behind them and enjoyed a night out celebrating their wedding anniversary at the controversial Posche fashion show. Teresa and Joe attended the event at the Venetian in Garfield, NJ on Wednesday night and “seemed really happy,” an eyewitness told Radar Online.

“They posed for pictures with anyone that asked them and they were affectionate to each other. You wouldn’t know that they’re worried about anything if you saw them last night.”

Although filming for season six of the hit reality show is tentatively slated to begin filming  in December, butt Bravo has yet to officially renew the series. As one insider exclusively told us, “We don’t even know yet if there will be a season 6.”

The stars of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Miami gathered around and rehashed all the drama during their explosive reunion filming last week. A source told us that the peon du jour was Joanna Krupa. “Joanna looked awful,” we were told. “Her dress and makeup were a disaster. Even Andy (Cohen) asked ‘What’s up with her dress.” Our source also says that there were some major dramatics pulled by the model and animal rights activist when she locked herself in her room and refused to come out. Costars beware! Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer Carlton Gebbia may put a spell on you.

Married to David Gebbia, owner of corporate investment firm StockCross Financial Services, Carlton prides herself on her family and, yes, her practice of witchcraft. Not just a witch in a metaphorical sense—the mother of three is a practicing witch of the Wiccan persuasion.

 “There’s a lot of debate about what I supposedly practice, because Wicca and other religions are covered under the umbrella of Paganism. I’m Celtic, which is my ancestry,” Carlton explained in an interview with The Daily Beat on Wednesday. “I practice witchcraft. My grandmother was a Pagan. There are so many branches of Paganism and there are also different ways to practice these faiths.”

Despite the negative assumptions, Gebbia describes her faith as  “incredibly positive.”

 “We believe that the spirit lies in everything around us and I believe that spiritual growth is related to the cycles of the earth,” she said. “I believe in the moon phases as well.”

Carlton is sure to be an interesting addition to the cast this season. She can been seen in the season four video trailer locking lips with co-star Brandi Glanville in a swimming pool.

Will the Real Housewives of Atlanta stars NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak ever make amends? On this week’s episode of I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding, viewers witnessed NeNe reach out to Kim to invite her to her wedding.

“If you had asked me this some months ago or maybe even a year ago, I probably would have said that Kim would never be at my wedding,” NeNe explained. “But I just think that she should be invited. She’s just a part of so much history that has happened.”

Kim was pleasantly surprised when asked if she would attend the wedding. “I’m definitely game for [the wedding] and I’m very, very happy for you. I really am,” Kim revealed.

“Maybe we can find a way to stay on good terms,” NeNe suggested to Kim. “I think that’s what we need to learn how to do.”

NeNe is not the only RHOA co-star Kim has buried the hatchet with. “Yes!! We r good!! Xx,” Kim tweeted in response to a fan asking if she was indeed still close with Sheree Whitfield.

Despite all the rekindling, Kim and former BFF Kandi Burruss have yet to make reparations. In fact, the two recently duked it out in court. Kandi, however, is not letting the courtroom negativity get in the way of her happiness. Rumor has it she and fiancée Todd Tucker quietly married in Mexico this past week.

Blogger Tamra Tattles is reporting that Todd and Kandi tied the knot on the beach in Mexico– revealing Bravo’s camera crew and all of Kandi’s Real Housewives co-stars were in attendance at the small ceremony.

The wedding will most likely be featured on the upcoming sixth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Between Kenya Moore offering Phaedra Park’s husband Apollo a blow-job to NeNe Leakes preparing to bust some ass, this is sure to be the juiciest season yet!
